Judgement...?!

On the 14th of September, the examination results of my 5th semester (the most important semester) in my polytechnic years had been released...
It is said that the application for the scholarship and university admission upon graduation from poly is greatly influenced by the results of the first 5 semester. Everyone worked really hard and hoped that the results would be fine. For mine, it is as follows...

My greatest fear came true, no more GPA 4 for me this semester. The 2 IS (interdisciplinary) modules for the semester, namely Mind Quest for Excellence and World Issues: A Singapore Perspective really weren't my cup of tea. One involves scary and profound human mind reading, another one requires lotsa knowledge about current affairs and international happenings. For some dumbs and unsensitives who never tried to read news papers, like ME, it's kinda like kissing goodbye to the A's for the modules. True enough, I got 2 B+s and there goes the 4.000.
Oh well, I'm still quite happy and delighted that miraculously, I scored AD for all my 4 core modules. YAY!
So hopefully, these will be sufficient to support my undergraduate studies. Hehe...

Something extra for the entry...
The first episode of StarDJ All-4-One: StarDJ IN-tips (Self-translated from ming xing DJ mi ji =x) received lotsa positive feedbacks. All of us are so happy and probably I feel the most. Just wanna thank those who supported our show and given feedback and oh ya, the compliments, I really appreciate it. However, that doesn't mean we'd stop here, we will try our best to move on, progress in order to bring more interesting and informative shows to all of you. Hence, continue listen to us and never ever stop criticising and complimenting (=P) us okok? LOL...

Long time no see...

It's more than 2 months since I last blogged... I feel so irresponsible and had already, somehow, abandoned my blog... Ooops sorry...
Anyway, I'm back to blog now and hope this continues.

I have done quite a lot of things in the 2 months. Erm... troublesome to name them but yea, finished my 5th semester in polytechnic and currently having my 3.5-month attachment at the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). It is not really a very new thing to me as I spent around a month's time working here for my Final Year Project earlier this year too. It's just that the lab now has more staffs, more PhD. students,has gotten more squeezy and gotten more iMacs and Pcs. More challenges on our project lie ahead and we are learning new techniques, machines and handling cell culture now. Oh boy... so mundane and boring right? Bleah, I'm just gotten too bored at work and simpy finding stuffs to blog about I guess.

27th of July is a nice day, the day when I got to know this someone worthy. Hmm... how should I put it...? I somehow felt appreciated since then? Perhaps... Not that I've always been living in misery la, but it's just a nice feeling that's hard to describe to be with the person. Forgive me for I'm really bad at words, as always... Things had been fine, but well... it won't be smoothsailing all the time I guess. We, sometimes have some of our struggles within ourselves. Hmm... really hope that everything'd be fine before we proceed into another level of commitment. Sometimes, it's really hard to describe how important certain people are, but I do hope you'd somehow feel my sincerity and gimme that chance. Let's just risk it! How about that? Lol... I'm talking to myself, sorry for the silly'ness. Oh well, too early yo comment anything on it. I shall pray for a smooth way ahead ba.

Thanks to the great benevolence of our boss Wai See, I'm currently involved in a production or somehow hosting of a mini radio program with another 3 of my pals, Ivy, Sharlyn and Juztin on Y.E.S. 93.3. So... if you're free, do catch us on StarDJ All-4-One on 93.3 every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30pm to 9.00pm. Thankies ya!!

Had been busy... or maybe not so busy... I just find it hard to type an entry... Don't really know why...

Picture Blog - Y.E.S. 933 Star DJ Search Finals

Wow... it's been really a long time since I last blogged in English. Some of my friends are complaining about me blogging in Chinese of which they don't understand what I was talking about. Lol... Well, since Star Dj Search is over, maybe i should blog in English sometimes too, or maybe alternate entries? Haha...
I've been slacking from blogging ever since our finals ended. Simply was too tired, moodless, and perhaps busy with some other things at that moment. Finally, I get to show you all some of the photos that are taken by my friends that day on 2nd of June while I talk a lil bit about the situation that day along with the photos. However, most of the photos will be featuring me, so please immediately close the windows if you felt nauseous or dizzy... :P

Eh... Haha... this was taken on 1st of June when we, the 10 Star DJ Search finalists hosted the S.H.E. PLAY Album Cover Redemption event at Parco Bugis Junction.

It's been really hard since our quarter finals and now it's the last time we get to host something. Oh... how memorable is that... Thanks so much to Janeal(The girl in yellow) for all the help and guidance. : D

Woohooo...(Copied form Cruz Teng : P) Finally, it's the big day, our finals at Junction 8, Top of the Eight. All of us were dressed handsomely and beautifully by the artistes from Jean Yip and eh... another don't know what make up salon... LOL...

Scarily... most of us were in black and white sia...

My all time great partner, Callista... Yeah... She's trying to be an elegant lady of which I think..... It's quite successful la... Don't kill me ya, Callista : P

The show started and all the 10 of us went up to stage to give self-introduction and that's my turn.

First challenge! To come up with a sensible talk or story based on combinations of 2 pictures and 1 phrase randomly picked from envelopes. The 2 pictures I got were TREE and a MUSIC SCORE while the phrase that I got was 鲑鱼(SALMON). So, blah blah blah, off I go crapping!

Second challenge! To have an interview with celebrities imitated my DJs. I got S.H.E.!! Lucky me!! Due to the hosting for S.H.E. the day before, we all did some research on them and that was the time I utilised all the research infos!

Third challenge! To present anything that you want!! It's free!!

So I had decided to sing and play along with my dear guitar, guess that's what I do best XD

And I go singing... I sang the Japanese song Sakura by Moriyama Naotaro(森山直太朗）with a bit of the lyrics from its Chinese version sang by 张善为.

Last section before the 'judgement'. All the audience are given chance to vote for their very own Star DJ. Saw the stickers on us? Haha... Oh my... Marvin and Sharlyn even got bouquets from their fans sia... Lol...

Tadah! Two of the very well known composers from the Singapore mandopop scene, Eric Huang（黄韵仁）and Wu Jia Hui. They were from the FM Music School and were invited as performing guests that day shortly before the announcement of result. Jia Hui was the one singing.

Before the announcement, Mary went up to stage and together with Li Yi, they shared experience of them participating in DJ Search by Y.E.S. 933 10 years ago. Wow... It's been really long time since they've been with 933...

Waiting for results... serious faces and nervous hearts... Wow... our champion Ivy was so overwhelmed by her 'Best Creativity Award' and didn't know that there was a bigger one waiting for her. Lol...

After nearly 3 months of hard work and training, the competition is finally over. I wanna take this opportunity here to again, thank all the DJs from Y.E.S. 933, you all had been such great mentors to us and we learnt a lot from you all; my friends and classmates, thanks for attending the finals as well as the sms votings, I really appreciate it; my family, thanks for supporting me in this competition, all the encouragement and help, thankies so much; and basically ALL of you out there who helped in directly and indirectly in the competition, especially, Xin Ting : D

Since then, I shall shift my attention back onto school work and some other stuffs ba. Hahah... There is one more common test paper waiting for me there... Lol... Wish me luck and wish you guys happy always. Thanks for visiting my shabby haven... ^_^

哇... 看看我之前一篇博客的日期，再看看今天的日期，我已经有半个月没有更新了。相信很多的读者都以为陈友斌人间蒸发了吧。在这里真得要说声抱歉，因为近来真的太忙碌了，除了学校和明星DJ争霸赛之外，还有一些工作和家里的事要处理。也就因为这样，到了今天才上来和大家见见面。很高兴还有看到朋友的留言，真的很感动。希望一切恢复正常，明星DJ争霸赛结束后，还能见到大家！

在我没有更新的这段期间，真的发生了好多事情。最令人震惊的便是崇庆哥哥受伤的消息，相信大家知道后都好痛心吧。现在的我们只好为他祈祷，希望他快点好起来。希望能够尽快在空中听到他的声音。尽管如此，还是要恭喜他成功凭《第一次谋杀》荣获金罐头的最佳男主角啦！实至名归，呵呵... 要加油哦！
还有一样值得一提的就是，上周在爱琴海值班的时候，有幸与第一届的校园Superstar的史心莹搭档哦。他是一位很有个性的女生，呵呵...

现在到了这个节骨眼，大决赛已经迫在眉睫了，但是我还是有些没有进入状况的感觉，真不知道该怎么办。不过啊，真的就是抱着平常心啦，尽力而为就是了。当然，我也希望当天能够在碧山第8站看到大家啦，不管是为了我还是为了其他参赛者加油。先谢过大家了！

如果是933听众的话，相信大家应该对苏打绿这个台湾的新晋乐团不会太陌生吧？对了，没错！就是演唱那首《罐头剧场之暗巷》主题曲《小情歌》的那个乐团啦！
当当当！这里要狂贺他们在2007年第18届台湾金曲奖入围了7大奖项，真的好厉害哦！其实在《就是万人迷》的时段，志勇也有提过好多次了啦，不过呢，在这里再提一下，也顺便介绍给一些还不认识他们的朋友吧。
说到这个入围的奖项呢，其实就包括了有：最佳年度歌曲奖（小情歌《小宇宙》），最佳国语专辑奖（小宇宙），最佳作曲人奖（吴青峰/小情歌《小宇宙》），最佳作词人奖（吴青峰/小情歌《小宇宙》），最佳编曲人奖（苏打绿/小情歌《小宇宙》），最佳专辑制作人奖（林暐哲/小宇宙）还有最佳乐团奖（苏打绿/小宇宙）。

嗯... 左边开始是电吉他手，贝斯手（是女生哦！好酷！），主唱吴青峰，鼓手，新晋的小提琴兼键盘手还有最右边的是团长兼木吉他手。说得好惭愧的，因为除了主唱，其他团员的名字我都忘了耶。他们的官网好像也因为某些问题无法进入。
对了，还有一件事！苏打绿会在周五早上万人迷的时段接受933的电话专。如果是他们的迷儿，就千万要早起哦！呵呵！
最后，送给大家他们的一首作品。相信小情歌大家已经听了好多遍了，这次呢，介绍给大家，另外一首不错的作品，就是小宇宙专辑里的小宇宙！里面的歌词还蛮不错的，说到了一些社会里糟糕的现象。大家欣赏欣赏吧！

哇... 把日历看一看，我已经将近一周没有写博客了。这些日子都溜到哪去了呢？呵呵...早前在忙的是播客咯，之后便趁着周末回到马来西亚去庆祝一年一度的母亲节。之后就一直赖到了今天。
所以啊，现在在学校无所事事的我，便决定来发一些庆祝母亲节时拍的照片。其中有蛮多的帅哥美女哦，大家不要想太多，我除外... 哇哈哈...

由于我周日就要回来新加坡了，我们一家人便提早庆祝母亲节。当晚到了酒楼去大吃一顿。

天啊... 这几天真的是太恐怖了，忙死了... 学校的课业，明星DJ争霸赛的活动再加上播客（Podcast）的制作，真的要让我累垮了。接下来的几天直到播客截稿，相信就没有办法上来聊聊了。就真的希望大家能够见谅。上来了，如果我没有更新的话，也赏赏脸，听一下我录制的作品啦。呵呵... （开始老王卖瓜了...）
昨天晚上失眠的时候，在床上翻来覆去，突然有了个狂想。现在就不先告诉大家内容是啥，免得大家会恶心。就给我多一点时间吧，希望大家会喜欢慢一点要为大家送上的东西。
在这里，我也不多说啦，要去忙一下咯。

周末过去了...

啊... 不知不觉，一个星期又过去了，迎接着我们的是新的一周，是新的希望吗？呵呵... 但愿它会是美好的。
其实啊，之前几天博客博得太拼命了，发现今天好像没有什么有趣的东西可以分享。（迷之声：“江郎才尽就老实说啦，不用掩饰...”）
嗯... 说说今天（技术上，应该是昨天。）吧。今天是工作天，原本应该和思悯搭档的我，由于她生病，所以整场驻唱就有我一个歌手来撑，当然还有吉他手浩源陪着我啦。真的是挺辛苦的，还好喉咙还算争气。尽管工作辛苦，但今天却可以说是我在爱琴海唱那么久，最开心的其中一天。
非常惊讶地看到Evonne和明辉特地老早就跑去等我，甚至比我早到一个小时啊。真的好高兴！好想写写他们，我真的有受宠若惊的感觉。呵呵... 在台上的时候，台下的观众也非常的high，非常的配合与支持。这真的让浩源和我好感动啊。已经许久没有听到那么热烈的掌声了。当我看到他们有的合着我唱的歌曲，有的用手掌给我打拍子，还有个会在我们呈现完歌曲后尖叫的可爱小弟弟，我心里真的感到无比的温暖。“谢谢大家！”只想那么说...
新的一周，等待着我的是忙碌的生活。张韶涵的校唱，义安理工的校园点唱，播客（Podcast）的截稿日期还有母亲节的准备功夫。希望能应付得来吧，加油加油加油！！可能，下周没能博得那么拼了吧。呵呵...

爱琴海民歌餐厅的某一角...

两百磅美女

《两百磅美女》... 一部近来非常流行的亚洲电影。如果是933的听众的话，你早前应该时常会在空中听到它的广告。去年，它在韩国上映时曾经是票房冠军。这是一部改编自日本作家，铃木由美子作品的韩国喜剧，本名为《美女的烦恼》。在刚过去的周一和朋友去观赏了这部电影。
故事说到一名年轻，拥有甜美声音但却有两百磅重的胖女生，康韩娜（金雅中饰）为了自己，为了生活，为了他患有痴呆症的父亲而为一位的韩国女歌手，Ammy替唱。Ammy虽然五音不全，但仰赖韩娜的声音，他得以成为著名的流行歌手。而可怜的韩娜只能躲在幕后，看着心爱的制作人韩尚俊（朱镇模饰）。
一直非常开朗，充满希望的韩娜直到一次在尚俊的生日派对被Ammy羞辱过后，萌生了自杀的念头。当自杀的计划正在进行的时候，韩娜在机缘巧合的情况下撞上了她情色热线的客户，一名整形医生。
在手术过后，韩娜重生成为一位貌美如花，身材娇好的女生。在朋友的安排下，他也成功的回到了唱片公司，见到了尚俊，成功的以珍妮的假名发片还把Ammy挤下了舞台。
渐渐地，韩娜迷失了自己，而一切也在Ammy和尚俊发现她真实的身份后有了大转折。最后，韩娜在自己的演唱会上向世人坦诚自己的过去。大家都为之动容，深深的感动。韩娜终于从珍妮变回了韩娜，同时也得到了尚俊的爱。

故事和剧本都非常之好，笑料更是甭提了。电影里面给人的启发也是无限的。相信大家都会认同内在美才是真正的美，只有外在，是不行的啊。本身非常喜欢电影里的一幕，那就是当过气了但却又拼命想回到歌唱舞台的Ammy独自一个人在空房间里练唱的情景。那真的表达了他的上进心，他也有想靠自己的决心。不过哦，刹那的好印象就在他发现珍妮真实的身份后破灭啦。呵呵... 大家去看了电影就知道我的意思啦。

除了电影以外，还要向大家推荐里面的一首插曲，《별》（读 byul）。中文的意思是星星。词义非常的感人，仿佛唱出了韩娜的心情。“无法消逝的伤痛；哪怕忍住泪水，在我那无法代替的爱情面前，也装着微笑”非常好的歌哦。今天和Sean他们练乐团时也决定要在来临的表演时呈现这首歌曲，由Charlene演唱。当然，电影原声带里，除了这首，还有其他同样动人心弦的歌曲啦。希望大家会喜欢哦。有机会不妨看看这部电影。献给大家《별》的youtube...

出现，消失，出现，消失，出现，又消失；如此的反反复复，真的是快要把我整死啦！

狼狈的一天

5月4号的我无疑的是犯了衰神。一系列的衰事真的是让人想骂脏话。这也让我证实了一句谚语，正所谓：福无双至，祸不单行。汗...
这天发生的衰事，真的是可以从我一睡醒就说到现在。早上一觉醒来，我的研究作业的伙伴说他头疼，不能一起过去南大。就只剩下我一个人过去。厄运的开始...
接着，到了南大，我便如往常的搜集一些有关我研究的资料。在整理，分析资料以及换电脑的当儿，我的随身碟（Thumb drive）竟然报销了。所有的电脑都无法阅读里面的档案。我完了... 大多数研究的资料都在里面。所幸我把大部分的文字档案都列印了出来，只可惜是不见了它们的soft copy和一些其他的文件。啊...第二件衰事。
今天是我一位很好的朋友的生日，粗心的我竟然也忘了。真糟糕... 只好提早离开南大去和他吃个午饭。还好他就住在文礼。唉...
晚上要去爱琴海值班的时候，由于早前在忙些东西，整个迟到了。在无计可施的情况下，我只好搭了的士。开到滨海广场（Marina Square）时，我便要以刷卡的方式付款，因为身上没有现款了嘛。怎么知道司机竟然机车地告诉我说只能付现款。我上车之前他又没告诉我，昏... 没办法，我便赶快跑到最靠近的提款机想要提款。气喘吁吁的我到了那里竟然看到恐怖的人龙，这下完蛋了。只好向佩佩（我的搭档）求助，拜托她赶过来，先帮我付的士费。当时距离我开工的时间，只剩下10分钟了。那没良心的司机竟然没有在我到达滨海广场时把记程表停掉，回去付款的我发现车资已经比原来的多了一倍。昏... 真想宰人啊。=x
心情已经大受影响的我还得继续唱歌。整个班次的我就好像是在乱乱唱一般，根本就没有心思。同时，也出了好多乱子。真是太对不起国荣和佩佩了。我真的觉得今天的表现好糟糕。呃...
晚上陪Huiling等晚班车回家。因为他一个女生嘛，男生怎么能在深夜丢下一个女生自己等车呢？不是开玩笑的，不过我们真的等了好久。疲劳的我，鼻子也开始发作了，开始打喷嚏，鼻塞。好不容易，等了半个小时，巴士终于来了，而我也终于能回家了。
现在的我，坐在电脑前面，打着博客，不停地在拧鼻子，真的好难受啊... 后天还要值班呢...真希望一切快点恢复正常吧。饶了我吧，give me a break... >_<

博客界面小更新...

啊... 其实已经好久没有来更新一下我博客的界面了，我说的就是Skin或者template啦。
今天，忍着那龟速般的网路，我把一些去年自己录制的歌曲更新到了我的歌单上去。总共有4首歌曲，分别是光良的《我等你》，周杰伦的《安静》，周传雄的《黄昏》以及郑源的《为什么相爱的人不能在一起》（好长的歌名... 他太无聊啊，想得那么长干嘛？=.=）。可能大家对郑源比较不熟悉啦。他是一名内地的歌手。为了让大家更认识他，我还上网A了他的照片，然后做了很笨拙的editting。就是那个名字的地方啦，呵呵...

因为是应朋友的要求录制的，而且当时时间很紧迫，所以录制的没有之前的那些好，就请大家多多包涵，多多指教啦。如果对于我的作品有意见或批评，可以电邮我哦。

除了新的歌曲，我还为我们明星DJ争霸赛的决赛参赛者设立了一个小角落。大家可以在那里找到其他准明星DJ的博客。啊... 还有，我也增加了Y.E.S. 933还有争霸赛官网的链接。

最后的更新就是，我为我的博客加了一样好不要脸的东西（对于我自己啦，他人不算）。那就是浏览人数的计数器。因为之前没有计数器，所以现在就从零开始吧。希望大家踊跃点击，多多给我些意见，要分享心事也行（我尽力啦，哇哈哈...）。

还有一件事... 今天晚餐后步行回家的途中，在路旁的草地，我发现了一些东西。

原来是野生的蕈（菇类）... 原来最近下雨下太多，太潮湿啦，所以到处都长了这些怪怪的东西 =S

好啦，我真的是太多废话了。在结束前，要向大家呼吁一下我明星DJ争霸赛短讯投票的方法。

明星DJ争霸赛（访问与集训二）

今天（依我正在打这篇博客的时间，应该算是昨天啦！）是轮到我上《一周好萧遥》，接受崇庆以及嘉蕙访问的日子。一放学，我便紧紧张张的登上巴士前往新传媒。虽然是傍晚时分，车速还是挺快的。到了那里，我才发觉自己已经早了超过一个小时。为了消磨时间，我跑去了食堂用笔记本，还正巧碰到超早抵达的勇翔与渝伶正在用晚餐。哈啦了一阵后，时间其实也不早了，我便快步前往播音室。

到了那里，淑庄还没赶到。在等待的当儿，和崇庆以及嘉蕙闲聊了一下。发觉其实他们都很亲切，很健谈。和他们聊天也让我紧张的情绪缓和了一些。
过了几许，久违的淑庄赶到了而我们的访问也正式开始。访问的过程当中，如果大家没有听到早前的节目，我们就是聊到了参赛的经验啊，为什么想当DJ啊，一些未来的希望等等。今天，再一次的，我被称说我说话象个台湾人。这真的算是给我的一个告诫，确实需要把这个习惯改掉。并不是说说得很台湾不好，只是我自己也觉得那种方式用在我的嘴里，并没有很好听。呵呵...
崇庆为此也给了我一些贴士等... 而起初文静的淑庄，在渐入状况后，也开始热了起来，变得好活泼。哈哈...

访问结束后，我们大伙儿赶紧地到了课室而玛莉老师的课也准时开始了。他今天说到了如何在舞台上呈现最好的自己，在肢体语言方面的控制以及出席节目与活动时须注意的事项。可怜的玛莉老师在上完课后，竟然还被我们众人逼供，接受访问，呵呵...
之后一堂课的老师是崇庆。他聊到了访问的技巧以及如何运用声音来让主持的过程更生动。非常尽责的崇庆还让我们练习了一些访问开场的介绍。虽然是挺累的一天，但真的可谓获益不浅啊。我相信其他的学员也是那么认为的。

总共三堂课的集训终于结束了，接下来要忙的便是我们的户外活动以及播客。目前，已经对我要做的播客节目有比较明显的概念了。真要多亏欣庭的协助。接着下来要做的便是录制以及把它们拼凑起来。请大家要期待哦，呵呵... 保重保重！

明星DJ争霸赛（集训一）

昨天星期一是明星DJ争霸赛集训的第一天。带着紧张的心情，我独个儿到了新传媒接待处。一到那里就看到了勇翔和纪棠听着广播。啊...原来大家也像我一样正在听着一周好萧遥。昨天是思墉和晓云上节目的日子，身为决赛参赛者，大家除了听节目为他们打气，此外，也当作是观摩吧。
其他学员陆续到来，我们也在听完节目后前往“课室”。

昨天的课，丽仪给我们大家讲解了933的历史，它的过去，现在和未来的一些前景和展望。与此同时，我们也有幸让这位与933奋斗了近十年的DJ与我们分享他的经验，多年来的点点滴滴。这才让我更加了解到，DJ是多么有挑战性的一份工作，也感受到丽仪对这份事业的热诚。
讲课的当儿，我才赫然发觉丽仪原来也是来自义安理工学院的。
除了电台的简史，丽仪也说到了创意与广播之间非常密切的关系，节目制作的一些细节，重点等等。突击制作室的时候也碰巧遇到了正在赶罐头剧场的嘉蕙。原来，她为了要代玛莉的班所以才会在这个时候出现在电台。除了逮到机会预先听到新一部罐头剧场的一些片段，我们也听到了一些广播节目的预告以及开头介绍。嗯！非常有趣的经验... 呵呵...

晃着晃着，明天已经是星期三了。也就是说，明天就到我上一周好萧遥了。天啊...心情真的好紧张。明天同我一起接受访问的是淑庄。心里蛮担心的，毕竟自从半决赛以来就没有见到淑庄。她也因有事而没有参加简报会和集训一。真希望明天我们不要因为对彼此的印象太模糊而出一堆乱子啊。
另外一个让我好头痛的东西就是这个播客, Podcast...

目前的我，还正在想节目的点子，之后还要制作一些背景音乐。真希望能如期交货啊... 大家，保佑我啊...

Y.E.S. 933 明星DJ争霸赛与Talentquest X

在过去的几个月里，我参加了两场比赛，分别是Y.E.S. 933 的明星DJ争霸赛以及由国大学生科学俱乐部主办的Talentquest X。其实，乍看之下，大家都应该知道两场比赛的性质大不相同。而参加了这一次由Y.E.S. 933举办的这个DJ选拔赛算是我本身的一大突破，因为至今，这是我参加过唯一一次的这类主持人/DJ的甄选比赛。感觉其实还蛮新鲜,刺激的。在之前的几篇文字当中，我也答应了要来和大家说说比赛的点滴，就希望我脑海中还有一些痕迹吧。

先来说一说，NUS Students' Science Club举办的Talentquest X。其实，它就是典型的音乐性比赛，相信大家都会满熟悉的。今年是他们第十届的比赛，而比赛总共被分为4组，分别是独唱组，合唱组，原创歌曲组以及乐团组。我本身则只参加了独唱组。非常幸运的，我成功地在最后大决赛夺得了冠军。真的真的好高兴啊！原本并没有抱着太大希望的我，顿时被这样的结果搞得目瞪口呆。不过，在发呆之余，心里还是满心欢喜啦，毕竟感到说，自己的努力并没有白费，而自己的实力也受到了肯定。

在新加坡狮城大厦(Plaza Singapura)举办的初赛。当时选唱了林俊杰的《豆浆油条》。

半决赛在Amara Shopping Centre里的Union Square隆重举行。当时除了独唱组，合唱组以及原创组也亮相了。两位参加了原创歌曲组的朋友，Steve以及Wendy。

半决赛其中一名拥有非凡实力的参赛者，Clara。只有17岁的她，当时演唱了杨丞琳的《左边》。而我在半决赛中自弹自唱了张智成的《保佑我》。特别要感谢欣庭老远从新山跑去支持我，真得好感动啊！谢了哦! 其实我并没有自己在半决赛的照片耶。大概是当天太丑了，摄影师都不拍我。 =S

英华学校视听讲堂的后台。当时大决赛特地邀请了Y.E.S. 933的DJ志勇以及佩芬前去担任主持。见到了名人还不赶快合影留念，嘿嘿... 左起是志勇，勇光，我，季军Clara，亚军PJ，Sonia以及佩芬。当天，我选唱了光良非常早期，在无印良品的时代的一首歌曲，《每一次喊你》。

特别感谢盖比(Gabriel)和他的朋友们前去支持。那是得奖后同他的合照。当然也不会忘记义安理工学院创作坊的大伙儿们。你们真的是太棒了！

当时的奖品还包括的一个录制一首歌曲的配套，真是迫不及待要进入录音室去瞧瞧啊。尽管如此，目前还是在等待着赞助这个配套的音乐学院的通知。

接下来，就要说到目前仍在进行着的Y.E.S. 933明星DJ争霸赛。现阶段，这个比赛已经进行到了决赛。目前距离决赛只有一个月，而10强的参赛者们将会接受集训，上节目，以及进行一系列的宣传，竞赛活动。从4月7日同样在狮城大厦（怎么初赛都在那里啊？纳闷中...）举办的初赛里的200余位参赛者中，我等50人幸运地进入了4月22日在IMM举办的半决赛。再来，是现在的10人。大决赛将会于6月2日在碧山第8站举行。届时，必定又会是一场龙争虎斗。

在狮城大厦初赛的我。当时穿了会被人误以为是睡衣的衬衫。呵呵... 当时的裁判是慧诗，俊欣还有玛丽。119号的我可是等了4-5个小时啊...

IMM中央舞台的考场。当时的半决赛，我们的接受早上的笔试考验以及下午的舞台以及临场考验。大家都聚精会神地回答着考题。台上大家看到的便是考官俊欣。做着考题，我仿佛回到了我中学时代，需要考华文的那时。呵呵... 间中的考题还有纠正语病句以及长文缩短，真的是像极了大马教育文凭的华文试卷。

等了半天，终于轮到37号的我，上台了。当时真的好紧张，不只说话“嗯”个不停，还多了好多好多的冗词赘句。外套是特地向明源借来的，还好挺合身的说。哈哈...

再来一张靠近点的。啊...真的好丑... : x

一同进入到半决赛的好朋友微婷。表现非常优异的她并没有成功进入决赛，让我感到万分惊讶。相信她非常的错愕与伤心。希望她能够快点站起来，继续加油。而我不禁要大喊一声“我是幸运的！！”。

比赛计分以及总结成绩的当儿，933邀请了来自FM音乐学院的朋友前来表演，而正巧他们也是我餐厅一起工作的同事们。吉他手是劭泓还有歌手伟铨。

成绩揭晓后，大决赛10强的合照。大家脸上都洋溢着笑容。哈哈...

真的是有好一段时间没有打着中文字，为自己记录心情了。相信已经超过了一年。
我依稀记得，当时是为了某个人而改变了我这个习惯。回想起来，也许并不算是太美好的回忆，不过，就把当初的改变当作是给了自己一个磨练英文的机会吧。

说说今天吧，对于我来说，是黑暗的一天。一系列一起发生的事件，得知的消息，真的让我的心情跌到了谷底。早上一觉起身，第一时间感受到的竟然是我喉咙的刺痛与干渴。自从上个月24号以来，我的喉咙就没有痊愈过。医生也已经看了两次，医药费也挺恐怖的，它就是还不舍得放过我。
捱着那阵痛楚，我提起了手机，扫视着屏幕的当儿，并没有看到我期待的信息。不想也罢，看来我的猜测是错不了了。
梳洗过后的我，查了查今天的时间表。猛然的，我发现我今天得上实验课，最糟的是，我把自己实验用的白袍落在我工作的南大实验室里。我一时急得不知道怎么办，不停的发简讯向朋友求救。
接着，便带着忐忑不安外加暗沉的心情出发到学校。后来，多亏Kim Soon以及Brian大方的伸出援手，先后借了我他们的白袍，我才得以进实验室上课。真是要多谢他们！
带着复杂的心情，撑着撑着，终于撑完了今天的课。背着书包，我独个儿步行前往巴士站等待回家的巴士。步行的途中，我从口袋拿出了之前设为静音的手机。屏幕浮现了简讯的标志。于是，我便打开了简讯。令我震惊的内容，顿时让我手足无措。我一直在怀疑的一切，终于水落石出。虽然可以说是在预料之中，但是那阵该死的鼻酸还是不争气的涌了上来。不过，我当然没有做出什么丢脸的事来啦。无法挽回的东西还是让它就这样去了的好。走在熟悉的校园走道，脚步变得沉重许多，或许是心情糟透了的关系吧。
回到家中，发现了桌上的一片光碟。突然间，才想到Johnny昨天交给我的创作坊光碟还没看。
在电脑上放着创作坊的年度光碟，脑海中确实浮现了好多回忆。昨天还见到他们，和大家一起表演。我真得无法掩饰心中对他们的亏欠，觉得自己太懒，太自私，太自满了。只能怪自己吧。庆幸的是，大家还是那么的和蔼，那么的友好，我真的不知道该说啥才好。
现在的我，打着网志，鼻子流着鼻涕，心情还是坏到了极点。呃...这片景象还挺恶心的。呵呵...

顺便报告一下，我在TalentQuest X的决赛中夺得了冠军。一切真的是出乎我的预料。真的非常感激一直支持着我的朋友们。等照片出炉了，我或许会聊详细些吧。
另一个我正在参加的是YES933醉心频道的明星DJ争霸赛。目前已经进入半决赛的50强。这个来临的星期天将会进行笔试以及应变能力的考验。祝我成功吧。

Before... Talentquest X Grand Finals

Talentquest X Grand Finals will be held this Saturday (31st March) at ACS Barker. After such a long time, I've finally participated in another competition and fortunately I got into the top 5 in the grand finals of the soloist category. I am really grateful for what I've been given so far.
It's actually kinda unpredictable to me when I got in with low votes and stuffs... although the voting's kinda a depressing component for me in the competition.
Now... the finals is coming... I'm very worried as actually, I can't get many friends to support me...
Until now... I only have like 2 confirmed individuals...
I'm kinda sad for it... but of course I'm not blaming anyone of my readers here... I really understand that it's hard for anyone to spare their Saturday night for me and my competition.
Tomorrow, the staff from the competition would wanna confirm with me the number of tickets I've sold... it will be just 2 out of 20... I'm sure the other competitors have already gotten more than 20 already.... I don't need any much more people to attend to support me... I only hope that the 10% voting in the scheme won't affect me critically...
But anyway, it's been all along this way... Guess I'll just have to try my best for it and that's it... No regrets...

Result's out!!~~?!

After the long and miserable waiting, the result for our previous semester was finally out on the 14th of March, two days before my big day. Lol... It emerged to be a surprise for me as I really did not expect that much. It is more than satisfied for me, instead, I'm truly grateful to have it.
As I've promised 'pipipi' to blog about my results and here it goes...

Surprisingly, I got it again... the GPA 4.0. I never thought that I'd get it again after my previous one. And, I never thought I'd get AD for the IS modules. I was kinda sad that I didn't managed to get AD for my core modules, but, anyway, it's far much better than I expected. I'm satisfied...
Well... now, moving into year 3 already, having stationed at NTU is a blessing as well as curse (not that serious la : x). This is because I need to travel utterly far and wake up horribly early. The good thing is that, all the people at the lab are friendly and flexible, thus we are having a rather relaxing time there.

One more thing for this entry... Thanks so much to those who remembered my birthday and wished me. Thankies... I think I received more wishings than last year... However, some people who wished me last year didn't remember it this time. Lol... It's okie... maybe everyone's been busy.

I have not been updating my blog for eons... How sad is that, right? Ya, perhaps to me.
I don't know what drove me here to type an entry despite of that I am not really free at the moment. Probably, it is due to something in my mind now...
Hmm not sure how should I put it... I think I'm kinda childish in this kinda things.
Seeing people gotten appreciated, getting what they want, but why didn't all these happen to me? I guess the effort that I put in is not very much lesser than what they did.
And sometimes, I'm just ignored... Is it that I'm hideous?!
Maybe I'm an over-sensitive person, as sensitive as my nose. But, I just can't help to feel that way.
I hurt myself... I walk as if I'm lame... I don't think anyone knows... Sigh...

OMG... I think I must have been infected by some serious laziness virus... which caused me to be so lazy and sickly in everything including blogging... I admit... It's quite a long time since the last entry... nearly a month sia, I'm too horrible le... A lot of things happened during the time but I think I won't be talking about them la... since it's too much to be typed out... Lazy sia... Lol...

Anyway, I was sick for more than a week... in fact, until now, I'm still down with this stupid cough. Earlier then I was having serious throat infection as well as cough. All thanks to the haze... from Indonesia... I really hope that the corrupted gonvernment settle this burning down of forest as soon as possible, or else... I'll make them compensate me... Oops... I was just kidding :P As I spent $46 for my clinic consultation and meddy which lasted for 5 days but now I'm still not recovered yet. Maybe I should ask the clinic to compensate too... Wahahahahaha!
The cough really did caused me lotsa trouble... I wasn't able to pay attention all the time when I cough, I can't sing a single song all this while, I almost cough my organs out... I mean as in vomit... Lol...

Another thing to mention... my new semester had started for a week. Found things to be fine still for the time being. Lecturers are pleasant (expect for one or two), modules are fun... but I believe that there are more to come... I'll just have to be prepared and kill my laziness as soon as possible... IAP(Industrial Attachment Programme) and FYP(Final Year Project) are coming soon... and so... people are busy finding partners now... Brian partner with me?? Lol... You'll decide it ba... Haha...

Oh yeah... I did mentioned that I was going for Michael Wong(Guang Liang) concert in KL on 30th of September. I did went and it was superb... with lotsa surprise and suspense... Boring Holiday Life...

*Warning: This is a seriously meaningless entry, please read at your own risk... *

It's been more than a month since we started out semester break and I think for this time, it is freaking long. Is it something good? Well... it's definitely not to me. It's too long, until my friends in Malaysia, keep on probing me from time to time... 'Are you still in holiday now?' ' When will it ends ah?' 'Why so long de leh?? So good...'
What I can say is... Good your head la... *faint* It is not good at all, especially for me. I couldn't get myself a decent job due to irregular schedule of which I'll need to travel back and forth between Singapore and Malaysia rather often. And when I'm in Malaysia, I simply have nothing to do, except going to my parents' shop, rot and stone there for the whole day, become my siblings' driver. When I'm in Singapore, it will then be computers and internet for whole day... : s Unless someone ask me out la... *hinting* What kinda boring life is this?! i asked myself...
But then... I actually realised that I have lotsa other things to do... it's only up to me, whether or not to pick it up. Go jogging, exercise(Which I so needed by my weak body), play around with my guitar, arrange my music scores, tidy up my dusty room(XD) and what nots. So... I guess, it's time to put myself together to do some meaningful things...

A good news!!! I'll be getting myself an external harddisk for free very very soon! My uncle saw my MSN nick(Is it a deliberate plot by me? :P) and have decided to give me his brand-new 60 GB external HDD which came together with his new Acer lappy brought at the Comex PC Show ended not too long ago. I insisted to give me for free... and this made me troubled a lot(anonymous: ' You horrible LIAR!!!') as how can we get things without paying money from others?? Especially this is something so expensive. I guess I'll still pay my uncle despite his decision or else I'll feel bad.... : s

Oh crap... I'd better be going now, as I'll be required to do enrolment for my coming semester's study modules at 12noon(anonymous: 'Actually you have nothing to blog about la, don't keke... ). Well... take good care people, and happy holiday to the others who are having holidays now... Don't bore yourself out!!! Wahahaha....

Exam Results...

After the torturous and horrible waiting, the result of our previous semester was finally released on the passed Friday(15th Sept. 2006). To my surprise, it turned out to be quite well, beyond my expectations actually... Here a show of my result slip... :P

This is the first time I score 4.000 for my GPA... I'm so so so happy. However, I got it because the IS that I was taking the previous semester, which is the Innovation & Enterprise In Action is a pass or fail module which I don't need to worry about the grades. I don't think I'll be that good again next semester. Sad... Lol... Nevertheless, I'm very very satisfied and grateful with my current result. Hope that I'll be able to keep up my performance for future semesters... Good luck to me.... Lol...

Michael Wong's National Karaoke Competition...

As what I mentioned in my previous entry, I went back to Malaysia after my exams for some reasons. One of them is to go for the final of the Michael Wong's National Karaoke Competition(拥抱光良约定马来西亚演唱会全国K歌大赛) held at the Sunway Pyramid, KL, in spite of that there will be Project Superstar audition for males in Singapore at the same day(3/9). Giving up on the Project Superstar is really the right choice for me and I've never regretted about it as what I gained at the karaoke competition is far better than what I'll get from the audition. Guess what... I got Champion for the karaoke competition... OMG... I'm so so happy, honoured, excited, blah blah blah... (I'd never run out of adjectives to describe how I feel at the moment)

There were altogether 13 contestants including me from all over Malaysia. We were picked during the regional heats held in Johor Bahru, Penang, Ipoh as well as Kuala Lumpur. What shocked us was that, there were 12 males and only one female who was merely a 7-year-old girl... O_o Everyone sang their hearts out in order to impress the judges, so did I...
Aiya... I really don't know how should I continue this entry... I sounded as if I'm praising myself... Lol... Anyway, just to share it with you guys... Hehehe
Not to forget to mention, the prizes are rather attractive(at least to me, they are...). RM2000 cash prize sponsored by Magnum 4D, 2 VVIP Michael's concert tickets, Super8 air purifier, RM300 Red Box Karaoke voucher, 500 points of Dot Red membership points as well as Magnum merchandise. Those are for the champion... Yoohoo!!! That's the most I've got from all the competition I took part in the previous days. Yay... maybe I'm gonna get myself an external hard disk which I've always wanted. Also, I wanna pay back my parents the money they sponsored me to buy the suit for the final.

Haha... lastly... I'll have to thank these people... My family, especially my daddy(I can sense that he's happy that time although he doesn't wanna show... :P), Jay Sern, Kien Seng, Xin Ting, MIFC pals, Royston, Alex, Mr. Tan and all... Thanks for the support given... I'm really grateful...

Yoohoo... Finally, the time we've been waiting for, the end of our semester exam. After the long suffering and torturing hours of studying, we've been released... and now, what's awating us is the semester break. I can't really say for sure if it's a nice thing for holidays to come, as it may be a good time for us to slack around or rest, but at the same time, you'll be bored and stalled at home, without an idea what you should do. That's why, I'm trying to find myself a part-time job to fill my time as well as get myself somemore pocket money to cover my expenses. It's horrible since my phone bill's been rising like hell recently... Should control a bit lo... Hahha! However, it is sad to say that currently, I'm still unable to find myself a job due to my various limitations... I have to go back to Malaysia at times during the weekends, thus I cannot work during weekends. Secondly, sometimes, I will be having my duties at Musicdreamer Live! Cafe at night which the schedule is rather uncertain, therefore, my night is gone again... Oh maybe it is because I'm a fussy person?? OMG... I'm really scared that I might not be able to find a job after my graduation. Lol... Perhaps I'm not that vocal to be in sale and I should go for some laboratory job or office job. Haha...

Just in a few days time more, I'll be going back to Malaysia for some time for my holidays. Argh... There'll be this Comex IT Show at Singapore Expo during my time back in Malaysia. Initially, I was able to get myself a job there, but due to my trip back, I have to let it go... How sad... Furthermore, I missed a chance to grab some cheap stuffs... *sob* I'm really in need of an external hard drive as my lappy is gonne burst if my songs keep on increasing. Another reason is for safety of course. Losing all my stuffs due to my com crash last time really gave me a horrible impact.
Meanwhile, in these few days, before i go back to Malaysia, I'll have to finish a very important task for a certain person which is to record a few songs. I really hope I will be able to complete it by then and hope you'll like it as well. Argh... I'm having some mild sore throat now... Hope it'll be fine by tomorrow... By the way, I've already found some really nice and cute CD-Rs to burn the songs in... Hehehe..... Got bear bear de wor... Lol...

Some plans and stuffs that I'll need to do when i got back to Malaysia... Firstly, I'll need to get myself some nice suit for my final of the Michael's Karaoke Competition in KL. Then, obviously going for the competition of course. Really sad that they changed the rule which made the competition rather unchallenging and lesser advantage for me... Lol... However, I'll try my best. Hope that it will not be wasted for me to sacrifice the audition of Project Superstar in Singapore and go for that one in KL. I really hope to get some really good positions... Lol... Am I too ambitious? Paiseh la... : x

Updates!! Finally... 2

This post has got to be started with very very shocking, surprising and horrible kinda way, as I have not been updating for eons again. This is terrible... I've been neglecting Haven again... Aww... Poor Haven...

Anyway, lotsa things had changed during this period. When I was doing my previous post, I was still using Internet Explorer to access blogger.com. Now, I'm using Mozilla Firefox and when I was trying to do this update, I realised the compatibility of blogger.com with Firefox sucks... oh my... No choice... Have to go back to Internet Explorer again. Some other things to mention, I was still on audition when I did my last update if you noticed, now... I'm already an official guitarist and vocalist of Musicdreamer Live! Cafe. Not to mention the life that's more and more taxing nowadays, especially when the exam is just around the corner...

Actually, I never planned what to blog about for this entry, probably just some random rantings. Oh ya... I really feel like killing a certain person out there... Really don't know what's going on in the mind. I'm so disappointed, I think this whole thing is not gonna work out, for sure. However, I do hope that there will be a miracle. Now more questions to come... should I wait? Or should I move on? To wait... It takes me quite a long time and there's no assurance. If I chose the latter, I may regret... Argh...
Why is it that I have to suffer all these? Can't I be given an easier path?

Hmm.... talking about my job... Working at Musicdreamer Live! Cafe is really fruitful and enjoyable for me. Undeniably, I gained useful experience during my stay there, although I had a tough start. Really glad that my shifts for the month had been increased from 1 -3. Lucky enough, I was told to partner a newcomer at our cafe who is from Penang! He's a lyricist, composer, vocalist as well as a guitarist... Pro, right? I was really mesmerised by his talents. He composed songs for Stefanie Sun and certain people like Jacky Cheung.

OMG… I wonder how long have I not been updating haven, not to mention visiting it. See… the whole list of tags that I haven’t reply… OMG… I’m really sorry, my friends. Common tests, job auditions, performances and a whole bunch of stuffs shagged me a lot. Finally, I get to update a bit about what I’ve been through lately…

What a mistake?!
One day (16^th May, if I’ve not mistaken) when I was on the way to Marina Square for my job audition, I saw this advertisement at the Raffles Place MRT station which caught lotsa my attention. I managed to snap a shot before the train leaves the station. This is an advertisement put up by the Singapore National Leukemia Fund to raise awareness of people about the illness leukemia.

Please pay attention to the second line of the advertisement, namely, 与您拼肩抗战血癌. Anyone noticed the errors? Firstly, the 拼. If I’m not wrong, the person meant 并肩 which means cooperate or work together. Using the wrong word made the pronunciation seriously distorted from ‘bing jian’ to ‘pin jian’. Secondly, the phrase 抗战. The phrase ‘kang zhan’ means resisting aggression. However, it cannot be used before a noun, e.g.: 抗战病魔, kang zhan bing mo (resisting/fighting illness) and 抗战敌军, kang zhan di jun (resisting/fighting enemy). Literally, it may seem okay but for those who know Chinese Language, you guys will definitely find it weird to read and phrase this way. It is in fact a grammatical error in Chinese. The correct way I suggest to put it would be 对抗血癌, dui kang xie ai which also means resist or fight leukemia.
Lol… Have I been too busy body to comment on these stuffs? I hope I’m not, to you.

One Night in Japan…
On the 20^th of May, year 2006, I went to support the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Concert Band at their annual “Pops ‘n’ Classics” concert, themed One Night In Japan held at the Ngee Ann Convention Centre. This is such an ‘auspicious’ date as when you put the date together… it’d be 20.05.2006, thus 20052006… Lol… Am I too lame? : P Two of my friends, Brian and Chee Hao were performing for the concert. Brian played the French Horn while Chee Hao played a Trombone. Congrats lots to them as it was a great success. I enjoyed the concert a lot. Met Johan who was sitting behind me too… Some photo shots taken during the concert…

On the 21^st of May, I went out with Daniel… Lol… Watched the animation Over The Hedge at The Picture House of Cathay Cinemas. After the movie, we went to Sim Lim Square to check on Daniel’s com but it seemed that it’s still under repair. At night, we proceeded to the Campus Green of Singapore Management University for the Singapore AIDS Candlelight Memorial. It was suggested by Daniel actually as I really know nothing about these activities… Haha…

Actually, I can't think of anything interesting to blog about... However, I still feel like blogging as I'm seriously bored in school now... waiting for time to pass... It was decided that I'll go for the NP Song Composing Club activity along with Jia Yi, but then, since I had an early dismissal, I'll have to wait... wait... and wait... until 6 pm... Argh... So SIANz...

Anyway, had Advanced Cell & Molecular Biology practicals yesterday. I happened to meet Mrs. Tang there and she brought up this matter regarding recommending me going into the NP Student Council committee. I was really shocked to know it... and of course I wonder if I have the caliber required for this kinda things. She mentioned that she'll be recommending another girl from our course to go for it too... Well, I'll just wait and see how it goes... Maybe I'd be able to get some 'slacking' post there... Lol... Despite that, serving and representing the students is really a great responsibility... Hahaha...

Later at night, my landlord and landlady brought me out for dinner... how kind... I appreciate it! We went to some famous XO fish fillet mee hoon stall in Holland Village. Two of us which are my landlord and I ordered it... guess how much it costs? It's $14 in total... That's ex... I guess it's due to the XO added to the mee hoon. Nevertheless, it tasted marvellous, it so so so nice! It's definitely worthed $7 per bowl. I think I got a bit drunk after that too... Lol... Hope I didn't sprout any nonsense. And fortunately, there wasn't any hangover for me... Haha...

Hmm... This entry is roughly a summary of the things I wanna blog about. Actually, it's named so because I really don't know how should I name this entry... XD

Well, today (yesterday I mean) went out with Daniel quite early in the morning to Marina Square. He wanted to get a set of speakers from Creative for his friend as there was special offer for the first 40 customers of that particular day. In fact, this is the first time I meet Daniel in person... Lol... We met each other at Esplanade 'cause he parked his car there and then we proceeded to Marina Square. To our surprise, there wasn't too big of a queue in front of the Creative retail shop.As we reached there quite early, we were turning our heads around and chit-chatting while queueing. There were teams from Mediacorp Studios setting up their devices for shooting the Osim road show and fair. Then, we happened to see a lot of these Osim new products, the i-Gallop...

It's said that this equipment is made mimicking the motion during a horse ride. I wonder if it really works... Anyway, the staffs were playing on it and they looked funny....!!!! Lol... : x
After we've got the speaker, we went for an aimless stroll in the Marina Square. Got to Daniel's car after some window shopping and we've decided to go IKEA!!! I was told that I was the second person to be in Daniel's car besides his family... I was like.... should I go buy insurance first? Haha, just kidding la... I had full confidence in him. He was driving a BMW wor... OMG... Lol... And so, the journey was smooth and we reached 'safely' at IKEA... Simple walked around as Daniel browsed through all kinds of furnitures and home appliances... They were making my heart itchy... no choice la... can only see but not to buy due to economy crisis. Haha... Had Lunch at Burger King @ IKEA then Daniel sent me to Bras Basah while he went for other appointments (busy sia... this guy : P).

I made my way to Bras Basah Complex and then to Swee Lee, which is probably the biggest musical instruments retailer in Singapore I guess (Excluding Yamaha...). I was asked by Sam to help him check out some price of electric guitars and guitar effect processors. Normally, the Swee Lee staffs are rather cocky and arrogant, but they were exceptionally friendly today... Lol... This is how one of the guitar that Sam's looking for looks like...

After checking the price, I went to the Singapore National Library Building just next to the Bras Basah Complex I formerly at. Visited Han's and saw JY working... Lol... He's shocked to see me... Ordered some sandwiches and chocolate drink for tea... By the way, thanks for the 10% discount from JY... I really appreciate it : D

Let's talk about something happened on the other days. I was wandering in the school one day during the break. Something on a stall at the NP Orchard Road caught my attention. It's this!!!

It's actually ceramic!!!

With patterns drawn and names written on it, it's just like other pendants. To me, it looks rather nice... and so, I bought it... for $3!!! Lol...

Lastly, one more thing to mention... I've got myself into the final round of th Musicdreamers Live! Cafe audition as vocalist and guitarist. The final round will be on 16th of May. This round'd be far more challenging than the previous two as we are asked to perform a cafe-specified song, a duet with don't know which vocalist and another requested song from the customers on the spot on the day... Sounds interesting... I really hope I'll be able to get in la... I'm dreamt of it for so long le... Lol...

Finale... a stopping point, a concluding time... I've finally come to it, I mean for what I've been striving and working hard for it... of course not my life la. Otherwise, I'd not have been blogging here and now.
A series of events, leading to the heart-breaking ending... I've actually predicted it and I can say I have had some mental preparation for it. But somehow, I found it hard to accept and to withstand the impact on me when you finally told me the truth... Since when, you've not been visiting my blog no more? Since when, you've been acting coldly towards me? Since when, you've been blocking me on MSN?
Am I too much to think this way as merely a date? I don't know... Actually, I shouldn't have approached you from the beginning... Actually I shouldn't have visited your blogs... But... It's too late le... Everything happened and the wound caused is hurting. I don't blame you for not choosing me... I myself too thought that I'm not fit for you, it's the hope from myself which was driving me until now... What I felt much disappointed was that... you never tell me what you were thinking... dragging it until now... The pain's horrible... Waiting for sms that won't come daily, hoping to see you each of the moment...
I don't know how and can't continue writing this entry... The whole of my mind's a mess... There are so many things bothering me... Half a year... All my effort and feelings for you went into the drain... Sigh...

Oh my... I have to say sorry this time... for not updating my blog after such a long time, almost a week... I hope there will still be readers here after this entry... XD
Anyway, I was quite busy for the past week... Especially during the weekend, when I went to KL to help my friend in a Song Composing Competition. Was seriously shagged after the trip. Furthermore, I discovered some really heart-breaking and demoralising facts. I was and am still haunted by it every moment... I'm so scared... OMG... Can God not be so cruel and tough on me? I hope and pray...

Anyway, I'm not here to talk about some boring and sad things la. In fact, today's entry is quite an utterly overdued entry which should be blogged like... more than a month ago. The third thingy will be a wallet from... well, I considered it from my parents... Lol... My previous wallet is in really bad bad condition now... the colour even changed. Haha... I've used it for more than 3 years le... Now, take a look at the new one...

P stands for percubaan, which roughly means that this driver is 'in testing period'.

A busy day...

Today's a really busy and tiring day for me... Did lotsa things and of course lotsa things happened around me too... *sigh*

I started up today with my school at nine. First lesson was practical session of Advanced Cell & Molecular Biology(ACMB). We were asked by the monotonous but surprisingly young looking Dr. Choy to isolate chromosomal DNA from this baterium called E. coli and analyse it using some weird agar (Taste nice : P) containing cancer-causing carcinogen (OMG... ). Overall the procedures are rather tedious but fun!! Immediately after that, we had lecture for Cell Culture & Tissue Application(CCTA). That's quite interesting but upon knowing that we'll need to observe and record the results of our culture daily, many of us gave a big sigh... Lol...

Rushed straight to the MRT station after school as was going to meet special one... Special one is seriously sick now... >_< I was thinking of paying you a visit at your house if it's convenient, but I ended up meeting you outside. I'm so sorry... shouldn't have troubled you, instead you should rest at home... Hope you enjoyed it though... Something happened in between and I happened to meet my rival, another pursuer... I was so stunned when he suddenly appeared. We even chatted... If I say I felt nothing, I'd be lying to myself. I just don't know how to describe how I felt. Sad?! Nervous?! Not likely... A mixture probably... I really tried to act calmly and as normal... : (Anyway... you have the right to choose, my special one... I just have this extravagant hope that I'm still one of your choices... Well, I'm more than happy that I got to see you again... I really enjoyed it lots... Take care and get well soon!

After sending special one home, I rushed through this long way home and got myself ready for the audition at night. It's the second round of my job audition at cafe as vocalist and guitarist. Changed, tidied up my hair, took the exceptionally heavy guitar case and way I go headed to Marina Square. When I reached the cafe and registered, I received a notice from the staff. Upon reading, I went $%$^%^#$%^... OMG!!! It stated that we'll have to go through a THIRD ROUND of audition if we managed to advance in the second round... *faints* However, overall, my performance was okie except for some minor mistakes made when I plucked my strings. I guess the incident in the afternoon affected me a lil bit...
Anyway, met friends from Malaysia who came for auditions too... was really surprised to see them. Hope all of us will advance and maybe I'll be able to get myself some partners. Lol...

My arms and legs are totally shagged... My hands were never free this whole day... Carried my laptop to school and went to meet special one with it too... until I reached home. After that, it's the 7 kg guitar with case... I can feel my hands shaking now... OMG... It's truly like weight training...
Well, it's another long-winded + boring + too personal entry... Just felt like pouring everything out la... Take care, people! Till then...

Back in Singapore...

Finally, I got back to Singapore today. It's been two weeks since I left Singapore and by the time I reached my room... I found it... incredibly dusty... OMG... Guess I'll have to spend sometime cleaning it...

Well, tomorrow will be the beginning of my second year of studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic le. I'll be meeting new lecturers and of course some of those that I've known. There one particular thing that everyone's complaining about now... It's regarding a quiz tomorrow... A quiz on the first day of school... It's like crazy... It'll be conducted by Dr. Forday of Analytical Biochemistry. I wonder what will it be on... general biochemistry knowledge?! Could it be just a normal... survey-like quiz?! Anyway, I hope its marks will not be accounted into our grades by the end of our semester... All in all, I'm looking foward to tomorrow's school...

Another thingy, I'll be having my second round of audition at Musicdreamers Live Cafe on Tuesday... I wonder what will it be like... We were told to prepare one fast and one sentimental song for the presentation. I seriously hope I'll get in this time... really... God bless me... : x Lol...
Infos about it will be posted as soon I got the results... However, don't expect good results though, there are too much of uncertainties and sensitive issues in this kinda things.

One more thing... it's regarding my... TEETH. I'll put in some illustration... Lol...

This is a diagram showing development of permanent teeth of adults. Credits goes to A.D.A.M. for the image. A few days ago, I felt this pain on my gum and on my lower set (A weird way of calling it... I don't know the scientific term la XD) of teeth. Soon, I think I even got inflammation on my gum... oh my... After some checkings, finally, I found that I'm growing teeth!!!??? It's the third molar teeth in the illustration which is the last pair of teeth growing. Apparently, my 'lower' teeth slots(!?) doesn't have enough space for the third molar to grow. Thus, the growing teeth's now squeezing and pushing the way out... causing me the pain... OUCH!! Can't help la... Guess I'll have to endure it until it's passed... Lol...

Yesterday, I woke up with yet another serious flu in the morning. Probably because I turned in rather late the night before, all thanks to this game, Sora no Kiseki which is always one of my favorites. However, I had already promised my god brother, Jay Sern to go out, thus I had to bear with this running nose…

Went to pick Jay Sern up at his house in the afternoon after my lunch and headed to The Summit. It’s been quite some time since we last met. This SPM straight A1 guy has been busy with all his scholarship interviews and school admission stuffs lately, I guess… however, he claimed that he had been rotting at home all this long. Haha… Really got miss me de meh? Lol… Anyway, we went for karaoke session. Sang to all my heart’s content although the nose had been quite a nuisance. Argh… my dry eyes were killing me too… Went around the complex aimlessly after karaoke. Jay Sern got A Mei’s latest album while I went to get phones from suppliers on my mum’s behalf. Stopped by Roibo(I wonder if I spelled it correctly…) to grab a drink before we headed home. OMG… the hot hazelnut mocha cost me a bomb… Lol…

Picked my sister up from school and went home. Finally, I got the flu under control after taking Clarinase unwillingly. : ( Unfortunately, got the news that my little cousin was admitted to hospital ward due to some unknown diarrhea-plus-fever sickness and so we went to pay a visit. Hope he’ll get well really soon… *pray*

You were not online yesterday… probably because that you were too tired ba… Hmm… Hope you are getting along well with all the school stuffs. Get plenty of rests and hope to see you soon. My new semester is going to start very soon on the 24th of April 2006 which is less than a week from now. Since it's my second year, the study load has increased by a little bit, more hours and of course more harder but interesting(I guess...) modules. I seriously look foward to this new semester.Lol... Below shows the timetable for this semester...

I particularly hate the time slots allocated for Monday and Wednesday. These are days that special one maybe free, but they are going to make me study until 5 pm... I hate you all lecturers... $!^%$&#%^$%!#$!!! I wanna go out with you... >_<
Furthermore, I'll need to attend 4 hours of IS module on Thursday... I'll be bored to death I guess... I love all other modules except for IS modules and Mathematics & Statistics. They fail me most of the time... Lol...
I'll be meeting 2 lecturers from my previous semester. Miss Ong, my Instrumentation lecturer who was formerly my Inorganic & Physical Chemistry lecturer. Madam Chong Chit Looi, my Instrumentation lab instructor who used to be my Inorganic & Physical Chemistry lab instructor. What a coincidence... I'm sure it'd be fun and beneficial to be with them.

A Long Awaited Meeting...

Yesterday, 10th of April, I finally got to see you after such a long time... So long... It's nearly one month, ever since our meeting on my birthday which's 16th of March. I felt so lucky that I went online after I sent my teacher back. If not... I wouldn't be able to see you maybe in like... a few weeks more... *sob* Thanks for at least asking to meet, as I really don't know how to ask you out again... To be frank, I had a really bad feeling that maybe I won't be able to see you anymore. You'll ask why... Well, I don't really have the answer. Perhaps, I did mistakes or something that made you uncomfortable...

Anyway, at last, I've got you your birthday present a week after you actual birthday. Hehe... I'm guess you like it a lot la... Those stupid shops... really wanna ~~burn them down~~ ... eh... scold them...!!! Lol... Aww... those go-arounds must have worn you out... However, to me, it's worthed for you've got something you like.

Ah... your exams are coming... Guess I won't be able to see you again until all your papers end. Sigh... It's a long time again... And, I'll be going back to Malaysia tomorrow, having a longer stay there until my school opens on 24th of April due to some reasons I don't wish to mention. >_<
Lotsa missing here and there for me again... Hope you'll take good care of yourself... *Huggles*

Oh well, actually this entry was meant to be posted earlier but because of that I was on Genting Highlands, it’s delayed. Lol…

Recently, I’ve got my blog installed with a music player playing pieces performed and recorded (not composed ah… XD) by me. Therefore, I think I should give a bit of introduction about these songs to you all.
Currently, the first three songs in my playlist are You Raise Me Up, Journey and Right Here Waiting. They are popularized by Josh Groban, Corrinne May (or is it Angela?) and Richard Marx respectively. These songs were actually recorded specially for my special on as valentine’s gift. Went through quite some trouble in the production but they sure are meaningful to me, so, troubles don’t matter. Haha… Credits are given to Brian, Chee Hau and Ching for their precious comments and critiques.
Moving on, the fourth song, 讲不听. I really can’t think of a suitable title in English for this song of Michael Wong (Guang Liang). Anyway, it tells a story about a person loving someone really deeply disregarding all obstacles and objections from people around him. The very first song I recorded by myself. Was using recording software for the first time with the aid of my previous buddy, Yamaha FX-310 cs. There’s a bit of a ‘tick tick’ sound which I found quite annoying. It was caused by my previous sound card which was spoilt. : (
Then, the fifth one, 漫步太空的人 or I often call it Spaceman(!?) in English. Using the example of an astronaut, the lyricist describes the feelings of someone who is very far away from his love ones and his kin. It’s also a song by Guang Liang which I liked a lot and my second recording. The recording that I found most satisfying. Lol…
Next, it’ll be an instrumental piece. I’m sure most of you out there recognize the rhythm. Yesh! It’s 童话 (Fairy Tale) by Guang Liang (AGAIN!?). The first pure guitar song which I recorded. Actually, it’s for a very special reason. For those who paid lotsa attention on the Chinese Pop arena, you may know that Guang Liang just got himself into a new record company, SEED Music after leaving Rock Record. I helped the Fans Club by making this accompaniment for the ‘Congratulation’ video clip for Michael.
The last song which’s also an instrumental one entitled 寻光 or means searching for light (‘guang’ which means Guang Liang). It’s an original composition by a member from the fans club and also the club song. I felt really honored to be given this chance to record its guitar version. Haha…

Hehe… I hope you all won’t find this entry boring. I agree that it’s being a lil bit too self-complacent >_<. Paiseh la… Lol…
Anyway, I’m working on new pieces recently. Maybe the next song will be my own composition. Am trying to recording some ocarina pieces but it’s utterly hard, so still need quite some time la. That’s all for now I guess, tata people… Enjoy~~

Today, it's your birthday, my special one... Wishing you happy birthday(I wonder how many times have I wished you this? Really a lot. Lol...) and may all your wishes come true. Melon's a bit sad that I couldn't celebrate with you either on the actual day or somewhere this week. However I really hope that you'll have a great time together with your parents and your friends. I guess I'll celebrate with you in my heart... Oh ya... Hope you like the E-card and enjoyed the sound clip too. Inform me if you can't download the clip ya. Something else to share... I got into second round for my job audition as a vocalist and guitarist at the Musicdreamers Cafe. I'm so happy about it, let's hope that it won't be ruined due to some ...(I don't wish to say)... idiotic reasons again like I had at the Ark Cafe. Anyway, the second round of the audition will be on 25th of April. Oh my, they are really really mercenary... In order to earn more, they have decided to hold a second time of first round audition on the 19th of April. They sure earning lotsa money.

Taiwan Trip...(Part 2)

Haha... Finally, I'm back from my class chalet and it's time to blog about part 2 of the Taiwan trip. Well, where were we last time? Let me think... Oh ya, it's the Miniworld Theme Park. So, I shall continue with day 4 in Taiwan...

It's one of the most enjoyable days I had in Taiwan as I was told that I'd be able to meet my idol, Michael Wong(Guang Liang), the one who sings 'Tong Hua'.

I was brought by my friend(A Taiwanese) to the China Broadcasting Cooperation where Micheal had his interview by radio stations. A shot at their entrance.

Fortunately, we met another artist, Zhao Zhi Bi. Maybe Not many of you knows her, but she's a singer and currently a DJ under China Broadcasting Co.

Finally, we managed to meet Michael and took a photo with him after he had finished his interviews. By the way, that's the very first time I saw him in person. Lol...

After meeting Michael, my friend, Jing Wen brought me to a famous temple, Xing Tian Hall near our previous destination. I look a bit unwilling... : P

The statue of the founder of the China Republic, Sun Zhong shan at his memorial hall. For that time, I was at the real memorial hall but not the mini version of it at the Miniworld... Lol...

A shot with a gendarme(The soldier behind me) carrying out duty at the main hall of the memorial. These soldier are not allowed to move a single bit during their duty. I repeat, they are like almost petrified. Poor thing... Sometimes, there will be naughty tourists who try to disturb the soldiers by touching them or tickling them. So bad.... : (

After much of the visitings in Taipei, Jing Wen and I went to meet the rest of our friends at Taipei Train Station. They are all Taiwaneses and I was the only Malaysian at the time. Haha... These are the shots taken after we had our karaoke session. So funny, some of us were even holding on to Micheal's albums when we were taking the photo. Looks like some kinda advertisement. Fro left, Ling, Jing Wen, Ya Wen, yours truly, Jako and Wei Ren.

Now, it's the fifth day. I promised my dad to be with him that day and thus we went on a jeep ride with his friend who's also his business partner, Uncle Huang. That's the scenery at the countryside where we set off. It's really misty and that's the coldest day we had during the trip... not more than 15 deg C. I was shivering all the time that day.

That's the jeep we were on. Looks cool with its giant tyres. Our route of the day was starting from Guan Yin, we drove along the beach(not those beach where people go to have fun, instead, it's those rocky and hilly ones) until we reached Yong An Port. On the way, we climbed rocks, hills and even staircases(OMG...). It's fun but it's freezing at the same time as the jeep was without its cover and we were exposed to strong and cold winds from the sea.

Day 6... I went out with one of my best friends who's currently studying U in Taiwan, Xin Ting. If you've read a post about our band, Popteens eons ago, you'll know that she's one of our members. We went to Yang Ming Mountain and this was how the path on the mountain looked like in the early morning. Misty... but still there were lotsa tourists.

Visiting Yang Ming Mountain for a tourist usually it's only to look at the beautiful flowers bloomed during the Spring. So, it's the same for us. Thus, many of the photos below will be featuring flowers only...

Sakuras, sakuras and still sakuras... Lol... They are so gorgeous, aren't they? This is the first time I ever seen a sakura in real life... It's like having a hanami(flower viewing party in Japan)... Haha...

Carrying on, it'll be a series of photos of flowers. The first one is known as the Giant Taro, that's how its flower looks like. It's nice right? To me, it's as elegant as a Lily...
The second and the third will be Ume or some call it Asian Plum(I hope I didn't read the sign wrongly XD). It's the National Flower of Taiwan.
The last one features some unknown flowers look like cabbage(!?). I forgot to check out the signs and thus unable to explain about it. Eh... all the flowers are food associated... taro... plum and cabbage... LOL...

Now, let us have a look... What's this huh? Ahah... It's actually a giant clock made up by various types and thousands of flowers!! If you are observant, you'll be able to notice the pointers and small blocks indicating different hours.It's amazing, isn't it?? Haha...

After our visit to Yang Ming Mountain, we proceeded to Ximen Ding, a paradise of youngsters. You'll find all the IN stuffs there. If you are lucky enough, you'll be able to meet celebrities there too. This is a shot of the Hong Lou(Red Building) Theatre nearby. Most of the Singers promotes their new album here!! Unfortunately, there wasn't any activity on the day we visiting.

All those will be photos I taken during the trip to Taiwan. Now, here are somemore on things I took back from Taiwan...

For this 2 photo, they feature an instrument called ocarina, which not many of us know about it. It's made of clay(very very fragile...). I've been crazy about it for quite some time le. However, it's hard or almost impossible to find it in either Malaysia or Singapore. I got this one from my dad's friend in Taiwan who knows that I love it a lot. Haha... By the way, those who played Zelda - The Ocarina Of Time will know what actually is this instrument and how does it sounds like. In a nutshell, it's a wind instrument la.

And... This is the latest album of Michael, Commitment, with Michael's signature and my name on it. I got it when I met him at the radio station... So happy :P

The results for my first year, second semester's studies was out a few days ago(24th March 2006). Overall, it's quite satisfying for me myself and I'm really grateful that I got grades above my expectation for certain modules like Creativity & Applied Thinking Skills(CATS) and Physiological Systems as I didn't really do very well for them. Thanks a lot to Mr. Chia SP('Sure Pass'). Lol...

Anxiety...

Recently... due to certain incidents, I'm really scared... terrified seriously...

I don't know if I'm worrying for nothing or if my intuition is true... Uncertainties bugged me. I really can't fell at this moment... I'm almost there, I think. I can't afford to let it over like this... Oh... I pray that my intuition isn't true...

Oh ya, some news about me... I've went for an audition to be guitarist as well as vocalist at a some sorta cafe in Bugis. Oh my... They demanded me to sing English songs(Especially Jazz)... everything in English, which is such a big challenge for me. Verbally, they've accpeted me but I'll still need to wait till April before I can work. And yeah, I'll be partnering with a female Jazz pianist/vocalist and a male saxophonist. I hope this is a great chance for me to learn more about music... Lol... Anyway, one more audition awaits me on 28th of March... Ganbatte ba : D

I've somehow updated my blog template with links, archives and a music player. The music player features some of my own creations(as in performing and recording... not composing ya...) so I guess it's legal for me to put it in my blog. However, the server hosting my files aren't very efficient la. It goes down quite often from my experience... Paiseh la... I'll try to find a better server ASAP. Do drop me some comments on those pieces at either the tagboard or through my e-mail.

Taiwan Trip...(Part 1)

Lol... Finally, the entry I promised, I finally uploaded the photos I taken during the trip to Taiwan. Now, I'll share some of them with you all together with some descriptions.
From 4th (One day after my first year Final Exam... XD) until 10th of March, I was on a trip to Taiwan with my dad who's supposed to do some of his business stuffs there. Thanks to my friends in Taiwan, I needed not going on the boring business trip with my dad, instead, I visited lotsa places especially in Taipei. Below will be the photos I taken starting from our departure from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

That was the aircraft we took to Taipei, the A700 of China Airlines. It's equiped with radios, televisions and stuffs... Ensuring its passengers to have a pleasant 4-hour journey from KLIA to Taipei.

This was how the waiting room looked like. People including us were waiting to board the plane.

My Birthday...

Yesterday, 16th of March was my 19th birthday. How fast? I'm already 19 this year... and soon... I'll be 20... no more teenage le. Haha~~

Well, I spent my birthday in Singapore... with special one... I'm so so so happy that you remember my birthday. In fact, this year, there are very few people who remembers my birthday... I think. Sad... I guess there were less than 10 people who wished me. Anyway, I specially came back to Singapore for it. Finally got to see you after such a long time... I've been missing you a lot those few weeks. And thanks a lot for all the surprises and present you gave me. I'm really touched and happy. I hope you enjoyed the movie. Argh... Don't know what to say. I was really nervous, scared, excited and happy (mixture of feelings) yesterday, so I guess I was acting so weirdly again yesterday. I wonder if you felt it? I'm so sorry for that. There were just some things in my mind...
Sigh... I'll be going back to Malaysia on Saturday... I wonder when will I be able to see you again. I hope it'll be very soon. Oh ya, I'll be in Singapore again next week. YAY~~ Lol...

I know my entry is messy, stupid and neither here nor there... XD I'll try to make it better. Well, there are still quite some things in store for me during this holiday. The nearest one will be the release of results.... 23rd March... OMG... God bless me... I don't wanna be worse than previous semester ah. Then... It'll be a short term performance at a cafe I myself not knowing till now provided if I pass their audition. Moving on... The audition that I've always waiting for... The audition at Musicdreamer Live!(?) Cafe to be a guitarist as well as vocalists on 28th of March. I hope I pass, it'll ensure me a job O_o If I failed... then I guess I'll jolly well be a normal student, not thinking about working le. I wonder why they wanna have the nationality column in the application form -_- Lastly, for what I know, It'll be our class chalet on 28th, 29th and 30th of March.

As for the Taiwan entry I promised, It's still in process. Some of my photos are spoilt and I need to get them again from my camera in Malaysia. So give me somemore time okie??

After the one week trip to Taiwan, I finally got back to Malaysia yesterday. Lol... Lotsa things happened there and I think I'll blog about it a bit later after I go back to Singapore. There'll also be tons of photos I took to share with you all. :P

Have left my blog idle for some time even since my exam started. Therefore, I've decided to write something today. Earlier today(yesterday actually... as already passed 00.00 hour), i went out for my dad's friend's son's wedding(complicated eh...? Lol~~). The dinner was quite okie though. I've got to meet some relatives, uncles, aunties and my brother's friends which I've not been seeing for quite some time. During the wedding, I was asked to perform some songs. Luckily, everything was okie. I guess the flu in the day didn't leave me much of its bad effects. After the dinner, went to meet some of my secondary school mates at a cafe nearby. Met quite a number of them and was happy.

Anyway, my big day's coming... I wonder if there'll be any surprise for me. Lol...

Exams & Holidays

My first year final exam's running now. With 4 papers stretched over the 1.5 weeks, we are currently mugging like crazy?! Lol... Maybe not... Sometimes, we need to relax ourselves a little bit especially before exams. However, that's only my personal view, if it fails you, don't blame me ya.... Haha~~

So far, the first paper which is the Mathematics and Statistics I was over yesterday. I was quite down after the paper actually. With some carelessness of mine, I've lost more than 20 marks of the overall paper. A gross error in a matrix question and a complicated differentiation question. Only if i have a bitmore time.... Maybe 15 minutes? Then i might be able to reverse the situation. Sigh... The very first paper was so depressing, I felt a little bit lost after the paper, wondering how to go on. Watching the BMS(Biomedical Science) students cheering made me really sad and in fact jealous. How could I've done this kinda mistakes!?!? A secret was that I was punching and slamming the wall with my fists after I reached home.(I am crazy... Am I? Haiz...) The OAA and the Star Award seem gone further away from me... Sigh... Maybe I have taken so many things for granted sometimes... I think I need to do some soul-searching le.

However, I was and am so happy that I got to go out with you this week... It's so enjoyable. Watching your smile is something so fulfilling and joyous for me. So sorry that i asked you out on those days when you were really tired and busy. I think I must be more considerate in times to come. The incident of dumb Melon still floating in my mind now... Lol... Maybe I still need to be a little bit braver. Jia you, jia you! Haha... I also apologise if I was or am acting weirdly these few days. Probably because of the exam blues. Oh my... I feel so weird when I type this paragraph... Wondering do I have the rights to think and write this way? Tell you these? Am I taking things for granted again? As I'm merely a... Lol... I hope you won't feel uneasy if you happen to read this entry(To other readers too...). It's truly from the bottom of my heart... Soon, I'll be leaving for Taiwan for some time. In fact, I don't feel like going as it'll be quite boring to be on a business trip with my dad. I'll miss you a lot... really... Take good care ya...

About the holidays, I'm still thinking where should I stay. It'll be like nearly 2 months, so long XD. Hope to find a job for myself in Singapore which I've always longing to. Why Musicdreamer still not recruiting new vocalists?! Lolz... I need to somehow occupy myself O_o Haha~~

I was really furious, angry and sad when I was visiting my blog and happened to see some unsightly and insulting words in my tag board. I just thought of typing a new entry but it really spoilt my mood to blog... I wonder who this guy is and what's his motive. What've I done wrong? Please explain whenever you say something, ok? If you are too free then might as well go be more productive to the society instead of spamming and flooding my tag board! Sigh.... How demoralising, I feel like closing my blog down... And, to this guy, if you think you are not satisfied with anything of my blog, please tell. I can accept every comment that's logical and relevant but I cannot tolerate people who speaks behind me.

Valentine's Day~~

Oh my.... time flies..... today is already 10th of February. Two more days, the Chinese New Year will be officially ended. One more month, my first year in 1F06, Biotechnology, School of Life Science and Chemical Technology, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore, Asia, Earth will end officially too. And as what the title says, Valentine's Day will be coming in just a few days time. Woohoo~~

14th of February, a day which some people like it, some hate it and a day which makes some people happy, some sad. Some people likes it because they have their very own valentine to celebrate with. On the other hand, the single ones will be just alone.... envying.... Why some people are happy? Because their the other half may confess, propose.... whatever to them on the day. Why people sad? Because that's the day when they got broke up with their the other half.... *sob* Lol~~ Frankly speaking, I have never celebrate Valentine's Day before. For people in the primary and early sec, who will know what's Valentine's Day?? Needless to ask whether they celebrate it or not.(This theory seems isn't really true nowadays XD) So, no Valentine's for me that time. For a few years in the upper sec, I spent my Valentine's Day working O_o at cafes as vocalist. At least for a year or two ba. Singing to the couples doesn't seem to be fun.... Bleks~~
Finally, I'm in tertiary le, how'd I celebrate my Valentine's huh? There's this funny request from my lecturer, Mrs Tang that I'd to be singing to a girl in Biotech year 2 on the Valentine's O_o. She was teasing the girl just because she sprouted some words about me during my performance at LSCT when Ngee Ann Polytechnic was having the Open House. However, I'd not sing to her la..... no intention to cause further complications. I'd rather sing to someone else.Lol~~

Hmm...... I don't know...... I'm still waiting for someone's answer..... Or is it the someone's waiting for me to ask again? O_o However, even if i got a positive reply, we won't get to go out on 14th as some st*p*d tuition will be going on that day. Anyway, no matter what the reply be, the present will still be given by me.... by hook or by crook. And the present is in process currently, I hope I'll get to complete them in time and it's time for a surprise. Seriously, I've put in all my effort, time, blood, life, sleep, blah blah blah(crappy...) for this. This is my first time giving a Valentine's present. I hope I won't be turned down..... this is all i wish..... a chance for me to prove myself. How I wish 'someone' is viewing my blog. Lalala~~ : X

Somehow, I have finally decided to blog in English, very very very occasionally in Chinese. The reason? I myself have no idea about it...

Nowadays I rarely update my blog, I can't deny that I'm kinda lazy already but still there are some other reasons. Therefore, for this entry which is 'rare' I shall share with my readers(if there's any...) some photos.

Firstly, if anyone of you remember that I mentioned about an Outstanding Academic Award giving ceremony in my school which I'll be attending, then this will be the shot of the Medal I got it from there.

If I'm able to collect at least 3 of these medals, I'll be able to get a Star Award... But, It definitely won't be easy. Well, at least I've got the first one already. Haha~~

Next, it'll be my new pair of sneakers. It took me some time before I finally chose it. It's the Adidas Country Rip and this is how it looks like.

Seriously, this is the most expensive pair of shoes I have ever bought ever since I was borned. It costs me SD$88... O_o. Funny eh? Haha~~ Oh my, I described myself as if I'm a country bumpkin, lol~~

Finally, something happened today. Haha~~ Today is the Open House of my school, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. It's an activity that will last for 3 days and today's the first day. There were lotsa people, students, parents and all sorts of activities and exhibition organised by the students and various academic school around the campus. I am one of the performers of my academic school which is the School of Life Science and Chemical Technology(LSCT). During my free time today in the campus I visited my senior who's from the same secondary school as me in Malaysia, Jia Min at her School of Business and Accountancy. She was holding a 'Temporary Tattoo' stall as one of the projects required for her Interdisciplinary Studies module. So, I have no choice but to support her in her business. I got myself a tattoo on my arm and this is how it looks like.

I was told that it will last for 3 weeks to 1 month. I was quite reluctant to do it at first, but I find it quite nice and fun now. I even have the thought to do another one after the 1 month period. Haha~~

Haha~~ That's all for now.... I have to go busy with something else le...... Tata all~~

I have not been updating for some time le. Actually, there was meant to have one entry on 19th of January. However, some accidents happened and i think it's cause by some stupid B*o*g*r host site. A whole long paragraph of mine just got disappeared suddenly after i attached a photo. I was so frustrated and yet sad, that's why i didn't have any thoughts of updating recently.

My anxiety which has gone for quite some time seems comin back to visit me recently. I became easily worried on things again, especially my feelings. I started to feel stupid and dumb again for what I'm working hard and pursuing now. I wonder if is it that I'm over sensitive over something or that's the fact that I always being lied. I'm feeling so miserable and yet I have to pretend to be happy and cheerful in front of people. I start making wild guesses when small things happened, e.g: when a sms is not replied. Hey, friends, am I crazy? I think I am.
If all my intuition is true, people maybe laughing at me at the moment for my naiveness and stupidity. I'm so sad....until I actually cried. Am I thinking too much? Oh my, I have truly changed to an emotional idiot.
If that someone really happened to see this entry, please prove me wrong or just wake me up to face the cruel reality. However, I doubt this entry will be read. Or perhaps it will, but only by me myself.

Chinese New Year is around the corner but I seriously cannot feel a slight joy and happiness in the atmosphere. Nothing seems to excite me. Singapore has short break for festivals and that's why I'll have to rush back to Singapore for lesson just right after the 3rd day of the New year.

Sigh... sigh... God(whichever), please save me from the cruel reality. I'm a bit sick now and I wonder how to cure myself from it. I'm sure to go visit some doctors when I go back to Malaysia tomorrow. There will be no happy and joyful new year celebration ahead for me.

期中考成绩~~

我们这个学期的期中考至今已经过了一周，大部分的讲师都早已经为考卷评玩分，准备要来吓一吓学生了。直至今天我已经拿回了三科考试的试卷，目前只剩下生理系统一科还没拿回。

第一科被分回来的试卷是数学与统计学，也就是在昨天，我拿了93分。因为粗心造成了一些不必要的失误，才会失了分数。其次则是一些我认为自己不该错的地方被讲师认定为错误。不管自己再怎么坚持意见，同学们怎么努力游说，那位顽固的老师始终不愿意采纳我们的建议，还搬出了一些不合逻辑的道理来解释，真是气死了。
在今天被分回来的有两张试卷，分别就是微生物学和无机化学。微生物学我只拿了84分，在下定义的部分被扣了好多的分数。有点伤心的说，希望下次能有比较好的表现。
最后的无机化学拿了90分，应该算是蛮高的分数。（我认为~~）只是可恨自己在选择题的项目里不小心少乘一个2，让我选择题项目满分的梦想破灭了。啊~~ 还有一项令我失去五分的题目！！我竟然粗心到把两个还原半反应式（Reduction Half reaction）结合起来，还以为我做对了！？！？天啊~~ 这次败给生物医药科学系的朋友了，有点不甘心...

没办法啦，只好在期终考试的时候再努力扳回一城吧。

Haha~~ I was thinking for quite some time, what title should I put for this entry, simply because it's neither here nor there. In short, I'm just dumping in what flashed through my mind now or perhaps earlier on.

I was so happened to read a blog of my friend early today. My friend was commenting on the current interest of youngsters in Singapore after reading a news paper article about youngsters blogging, playing MMORPG and using video or web camera to get to know more people. After reading the part of the entry about blogging I was quite upset because I am the typical kind of people as stated in his entry who blogs about uninteresting happenings, boring daily life and of course without captivating flow of language. Some more, these blogs are rarely visited. However, that's a fact that i should accept. In fact, I the kind of guy which is not good at words and language. Even writing this phrase 'good at words' took me sometime to figure out which preposition to use and yet I'm still quite uncertain about it now. Haha~~ Furthermore, I, as stated at the very front when I started my blog last year that I blog only to release my stress, shout out my sad feelings occasionally and also practise my language(although it helped far too little so far). I didn't even expect people to tag my blog. As for a few of my friends, they post interesting blog entries with attractive editted photos and hilarious jokes. Sometimes I am quite jealous for their ideas and creativity that attracted a lot of taggers. However, perhaps different people have different point of view as what a blog is to them, I shall stick to my own way of blogging... which is with long winded 'essays', broken languages and wordy posts. I'll try to somehow improve in that field. Haha~~ Recently, I have also included a few photos in my blog. I guess no harm trying it. I even have thoughts of blogging fully in English, should I or should I not? (^_^)

At school, I received a surprise from my classmate, Si Cheng. It was a belated Christmas present which is the last album of the famous Japanese Band, Do As Infinity(DAI), Do The A Side. I've always wanted that album and so I jokingly put it in my wishlist which happened to have drawn by him. He was absent for the party and so I only got it today. But, I'm feeling a little bit bad now though bacause it's kind of expensive. I wrote it because it's possible to get it within our price range for the present which is SD$20. However it's quite hard to find these cheap ones, most of them are $20++. Anyway, I would like to thank Si Cheng a lot for it. Maybe I'll write a little review on this album and a little introduction on this talented band which was just disbanded not long ago(That's why it's their last album).

Lastly, I desperately need a new pair of shoes for my Chinese New Year wear as my shoes are all looking ugly and gonna spoil soon. Anyone kind enough to give me some recomendations as in where to buy interesting and nice shoes, preferably those casual ones, sports ones also quite okie. Haha~~

哈芝节假期~~

今天是哈芝节，一个回族同胞庆祝的节日，这也就意味着说今天是一个公共假日。虽然说是公共假日，但我并没有如想象的一样出门去溜达，相反的我今天就只出了一次门。那唯一的一次就是出去吃午餐。呵呵~~ 至于晚餐嘛，竟然还是是我房东帮我打包回来的，天啊~~

最近说也奇怪，似乎每天都要下雨，年尾都过了啊，往年好像也没有那么多雨。反正就是那么准的啦，每天都会下。也许地球就快疯了，呵呵~~ 就是因为这些雨啊，把天气都搞得阴阴沉沉，冰冰冷冷的。（我是在写歌词还是诗吗？哈哈~~）我就是个怕冷的人啊，叫我怎么受得了！尤其我家里是没有热水器的，冲个凉都好难受啊，感觉有点像在冬泳耶。瓷砖也好冷啊，冻得我的手脚都僵了。哈哈~~好像形容得夸张了一点。不过总而言之就是没心情啦，也就是为什么我整天窝在家里。其次就是本人命犯天煞孤星啦，一直都邀不到人出去，好失望啊~~ 好想叫他出去，但是他这里说不肯定，可能要留在家里，另一头又跑出去了，真不知道我要怎么办。所以啊，我就只好乖乖地呆在家里，呆坐在电脑前面，傻傻地度过了一天。

间中当然也没有无时无刻地望着电脑啦，我也搬来了我的兄弟吉他唱一唱歌。突然唱起了好应节又令我好怀念的一首曲子，光良的《雨》。可能大家没有听过这首歌曲，但其实大家都非常熟悉他的旋律。它其实就是《第一次》的第二个版本，曲是一样的，而歌词是由一位应该是歌迷的朋友在光良的填词比赛中所写的。好喜欢其中的几句... 听雨的声音，是难过的心情；，我的泪飘进冷冷的雨里；雨何时才停，伤何时能痊愈，而我何时才能够不再想你....... 寂寞的人才懂雨的心情。挺适合的嘛，大家是不是也那么觉得呢？哈哈~~但愿我心里的雨快点停吧，不然我可就要被冻死啦。呵呵~~

到了晚餐时间，接到了刚从新山回来的房东的电话。问我须要他们为我打包食物回家吗？嘿嘿~~难得有这么好的机会我怎么会错过呢，所以我就答应了啊。结果......买回来的竟然是炒虾面。我的老天，我昨天晚上才刚吃虾面耶，就要腻死了。每天都吃那些海鲜不知道会不会毒死，再不然就是被胆固醇压死。我看我真的须要好好的注意饮食了。虽然不喜欢，但是勉强还是把它吃了下去，毕竟是人家的一番心意嘛。

就这么拖拖拖，一天的假期就让我耗完了，感觉上我最近都在做一些没有建设性的事情啊。我还会不自觉地把每天的空闲时间空下来等人，也许何时能够约到某个人出去。哈哈~~我还是不要再做白日梦了，清醒点吧！！我想我也该睡觉了咯，我不想再迟到啦，呵呵~~ 晚安~~

The usual Sunday, the day I go back to Singapore from Malaysia. I used to carry my lappy when I'm going home, but for this weekend, it's slightly different. I left my lappy in Singapore, O_o....OMG..... I can hardly live without it..... however, I survived though. Haha~~ Instead, I carried my dear buddy which(or should i use 'who'?) has been through many challenges with me to Singapore!!!! People here should wondering now....Who is that? What is that?? Here it goes, show you all a photo of my dear buddy.
This is him....or her or it....whatever you call it. Opps I'm sorry, this is not actually him but probably a 'house' for it(looks more like a coffin though, OMG XD). Eh, I'm sure you all can notice that Doraemon is at my house, enjoying TV shows on my sofa. However, my sister always likes to lean on it.... oh... poor Doraemon. Well, crappy isn't it? Just for laughs...

Ta dah~~ this is him..... my dear buddy which is a guitar(Chey...) sleeping in his vessel(?!?!). As for his name.... He is called...
--THE YAMAHA APX-9C, a electric acoustic guitar. However, it looks more like a acoustic guitar with a smaller box.... more to my liking as i'm those thin and short guys XD.

Now, here is the problem. I had to carry this guy with that bulky and heavy box from Batu Pahat to Singapore... and on the way....we'd be passing custom checkpoints, Causeway and bus terminals. Anyone interested in guessing how heavy is my buddy with his case? I shall reveal the answer with a proof. XD
It's about 7-8 kg. It's really really heavy. I still can't believe that I survived after going through yesterday's journey. Something more worried me came across my mind. Is the case small enough to be fitted into the customs X-ray!?!? Luckily it turned out that it's within the size. If not, my buddy will be opened and 'molested'(Siao!!) and or probably they will even cut his case to search for drug. Uh..... I'm innocent!?!?! Haha~~ Thank God, all those never happened and i was back home safely without my bones cracking.

期中考...非常SuperBand...表演...

在漫长的温书假过后，等待着我们大家的是这个学期的期中考。这个学期还算轻松因为只有四个科目必须备考，而直到现在，已经考完两科了。今天中午将会有第三科考试，无机化学。但愿王小姐能够慈悲一点不要太刁难我们啦，题目简单就好，呵呵~~而最后要考的一科就是在星期五的生理系统。本人觉得这科还蛮无聊的，还听说这原本是给护士系的必修科，哈哈~~ 不过讲师还算幽默，所以还是要尽力的考啦！

新加坡新传媒电视台的优频道最近又推出了新系列的才艺竞赛--非常SuperBand（我还在纳闷怎么他们的比赛一定要有“非常”和“Super”这两个字啊~~）。非常SuperBand顾名思义就是一个乐团的竞赛啦。不过其实除了典型的摇滚乐团，他们也接受重唱组合，合唱组合等等。其实有考虑过要和几位同样来自马来西亚的朋友参加，还在考虑中。不过参加的可能性并不是很大啦，因为某一些因素咯，时间太迫没空练习，大家都挺忙得，抽不出时间。唉~~ 想想，也许就让它过去，呵呵~~

再来就是提到我们学校的生命科学嘉年华。其实本人也不大清楚这究竟是干嘛的东东，不过想要说的就是，他们竟然有征召表演者哦。而我啊，就毛遂自荐去向老师报名。令人咋舌的是，一直催促我们表演的王小姐竟然一点细节都不知道。*愤怒* 这还没关系，他把我的电邮转发给了负责的讲师，但是，我到了现在都还没有收到任何回信，真不知道是他们不够积极还是根本就没有心要找表演者。不管它了啦，有就有，没有也没大不了，反正我也已经被整得习惯了。

哈哈~~其实这个帖子是分两次完成的，所以心情有点不同，写出来的东西也有点乱七八糟的。不过，这有什么关系呢？反正也没有多少人在阅读嘛，就随便一点啊(有点自悯自怜的感觉）。希望快点有开心一点的事出现吧。呵呵~~

New Year~~

Yesterday was the last day of year 2005 or so called new year eve, I suppose that lots of people went for parties, celebrations and countdown activities. Well, as for me, I stayed alone at home, facing my dear laptop which made me really bored. However, thanks to people like Xin Ting who was willing to accompany lonely people like me on the MSN XD (Actually, she had no money out for celebrations, hiak hiak~~). Melon really appreciate that, thank you~~

Yay, it's finally year 2006, a new year. I will not be 18 anymore..... soon and my first year of polytechnic will be ending somewhere in the first or second quarter of the year. Last year wasn't a nice year for me...... various untowards incidents striked me..... I had heavy impact on my confidence. Thus, I wish this new year will be a nice one, hoping all my wishes will come true, maintain my performance in studies, find a job(which I failed for so many times and still wondering why?), be together with someone special and less stress from me to myself >_<. Haha~~ Of course, I hope people around me will enjoy a new year filled with joy and happiness too.

圣诞节过了~~

今天是星期一，12月26号，也就是圣诞节过后的一天。不知道大家的圣诞过得如何呢？是和谁度过的呢？朋友吗？爱人吗？家人吗？无论如何都希望大家过了一个快乐的圣诞。新的一年也要到来了哦，就让我们以愉快的心情来迎接2006年吧~~呵呵~~

为了参加我们班级主办的圣诞派对（虽然迟了一天，但应该不打紧吧？），我从马来西亚回来新加坡了。不过，才回来就听到了一些让人扫兴的消息。我们有些同学不会出席派对了，唉.... 不是已经说好了的吗？相信这临时的变卦肯定让人不好受，尤其是我们的班长啦。辛辛苦苦把派对搞了出来但却得不到好的回应。尽管如此，我还是希望耽会儿的派对会是愉快的啦~~

之前说到了圣诞愿望吧？我到现在都还没有实现那个愿望耶。虽然圣诞已经过了，但我还是在期待啦，希望会有奇迹出现咯~~呵呵~~

Time really flies. Just before I could catch my breath, one term of my second semester in Ngee Ann Polytechnic has ended and what awaits me will be the terrifying(I hope that is not true : P) common test that will be commenced after our study break. We'll be sitting papers for 3 subjects which are Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, Physiological Systems and Mathematics and Statistics 1. For another core module which is the Microbiology, we have sat for the test yesterday which means before the common test week. According to Mr Chow, our lecturer, he did this to ease our stress during the break and for us to enjoy the coming Christmas, how nice right? Haha~~

Talking about the holiday, in fact it is just a study break where we need to revise, how troublesome, haha~~ The break will be 2 weeks long. This is quite unusual compared to our usual 1 week study break. All thanks to the Christmas, yay!! However, I like holidays but I kind of hate it too because this will be the boring period. Hope that I will be able to get myself to revise seriously, it is really worrying me since i kind of losing interest in certain module due to certain lecturer. I hope i am still be able to compete with the elites though. Well, I know very well that all these actually lies on me myself. So, gambateh la.... to myself.

Now i am wondering how to spend my Christmas, hehe~~ Our class organised a Christmas party one day after the actual Christmas which is 26th of December. Thanks to Brian, our class rep and Audrey for planning this party. By the time, we will be exchanging presents, eating to our heart's content and singing, it will definitely be fun. Our mentor, Miss Ong will be there too.

Since the Christmas is coming, I'd like to make a wish here... Haha..... Just a very simple wish, which is to watch The Chronicles Of Narnia with someone special. I really this small wish will come true, please.... Santa...... Wahaha~~

颓废~~

唉...最近的日子真的是颓废到了极点，我真的不知道近来做了些什么有建设性的事情。我近乎大部分的空闲时间都在打网游，可以说是就要到发疯了的境界。我曾经还有一次因为太累了而迟到。坦白地说，我并不喜欢这样的生活。大家一定会想，既然不喜欢又何必如此呢？但是我真的没有办法控制自己，因为只有通过这个游戏，我才能见到他，和他聊天。我多么希望能够再靠近对方一点，但是等级的悬殊让我担心我会离他越来越远，好无聊的想法吧？我真得疯了...
下来，我又担心等学校假期结束后，他不再有时间玩网游，而我也可能没有办法再见到他了。有时觉得自己真的有点没用，东西全部都只藏在心里，掩饰着。又或许是我自己想得太多，过度焦虑了。我究竟应不应该放弃追寻呢？我几经想过要放弃，但结果还是坚持下来了。朋友们都劝我放弃的好，但我就是不愿意。尽管如此，我无法预料自己还能够坚持，硬撑多久。只能说是撑一天过一天吧。大概就等到被亲口拒绝为止吧。想到这里我就好心疼，但愿这一天永远不会到来。

不过，除了伤心，颓废的事情以外，还是会有令人开心，雀跃的事情值得分享的。之前有提到关于我到木船民歌餐厅找工作以及面试的事情，现在就是要说这个。呵呵~~（难得会有“呵呵~~”出现啊...）经过30号那天第一轮的面试，我终究找回了一点自信。我在大概星期六也就是12月3号那天（面试后3天）终于收到我期待已久，木船的电邮了。电邮交代说我成功进入第二轮面试了。真的好令人开心啊，我终于有机会能够证明给木船那班家伙看我不是好欺负的了。我一直觉得他们有剥削马来西亚人的嫌疑，当然我不希望我的直觉是对的。第二轮的面试将会在12月14号并采用不插电的方式进行考验。虽然我已经有一段时间没有在餐厅驻唱了但我仍然对自己这方面的能力有信心，但愿到时不会出乱子就好了。至于选曲，我还没有决定，一时之间也不知道应该选哪些歌才好。希望自己在12号以前能挤出一些不错的歌曲来交给木船，哈哈~~通过这个考验后我相信我应该就能进入木船，实现我的梦想。如此一来，父母也不必那么辛苦啦。哈哈~~

今天打开电邮箱，发现了校方寄来的学费征收通知，要求我们把学费准备好存入银行户口，再由他们从银行自动转账。这个学期的费用是新币$1130。这笔数目对我来说非常大，父母一时间要掏出那么多钱还真的不简单。到现在才了解父母的苦处哦。不过，我又开始担心了。我近来一直有不祥的预感，我担心自己在这个学期没有办法考得跟上学期一样好。似乎跟我最近的生活方式有关。但愿我的想法是多余的啦，我还想继续拿最佳表现奖呢。好压力啊！呵呵~~

好久都没有那么长的帖子了。其实一直以来都想每天更新，但就是因为自己一直守着网游，弄得写日记的心情都没有了。今天有这样的闲情真是难得啊，呵呵~~
...........心情顿时又恢复到低落了.............>_<

Back in Singapore~~

After spending the weekend in Batu Pahat, my hometown, I came back to Singapore again today (Sunday). Haha~~

On Saturday, Meng Chuan, my former school mate who is currently studying at Tunku Abdul Rahman College, KL came to seek help from me. He and a few of my former school mates formed a band and took part in a so call unplugged singing competition held by their school Music Society. Before i forget, I shall congrats them for entering the semi-finals, bravo!!! He came to discuss with me on their song to be performed in the semis. That stupid Music Society gave a very weird and yet challenging request to the semi-finalists (I hate TARC Music Society....). They want them to merge a Pop song and a 80's oldies to be their competition song. They are still newbies, I'm sure this will not be easy to them. Actually Meng Chuan went to see our former guitar teacher to seek help earlier, he was just there for my opinion. In the end, he decided to choose two songs, Can't Help Falling In Love of F4 (formerly by Elvis i suppose) and 放我的真心在你的手心 by Z Chen (formerly by 叶欢).

Oh my... this post is really a little bit neither here nor there, as i didn't complete it at once but twice after a very long time. It's probably that I have forgotten something though. Haha~~

Actually, I don't really know what title to put for this particular entry. Simply because it's a bit of here and there, it doesn't really has a focus. Haha~~ well, I'll update my haven with something that happened recently.

I've received an e-mail from my current Microbiology lecturer, Mr Gregory Chow a week ago and the mail was about the LSCT Academic Award Giving Ceremony. Oh gosh... I'm in the list, I'm so overwhelmed by that, yay!!!! (enough of my madness....)However, the prizes are not stated in the mail so i was wondering all the time, what award will I be receiving. Haha~~
I even asked Mrs Tang about it on Monday during the Microbiology Practical session. All the answers I've got from her is, the result is confidential, they must have suspense..... O_O I was so eager to know about it. And finally, it was Tuesday, the award giving day. Chee Hao, Yi Cheen, Su Cheng and I together with a few award recipient went to the LT 79 for the ceremony. Throughout the ceremony, I was shaking from both excitement and the feeling of nervous and thanks to the agenda, the ceremony started off with awards for Chemical And Biomolecular Engineering(CBE) and Chemical Engineering(CE). This kept me suspended longer..... uh..... I hate the feeling. After waiting with full patience, it's the award presentation for Biotechnology(BIO). Ooooooh my, I was presented with Best Performance in Cell Biology(CBIO) and Organic and Biological Chemistry(OBC) and The Most Outstanding Performance in the course Biotechnology level 1.2. I got listed in the Director's List which refers to the top 10% too. I was soooooooo happy and most importantly, I felt honoured!!! Luckily i did not fail my parents, haha~~ For Chee Hao, he got the Best Performance in Individual and The Community(IAC) which is the subject i hated the most and caused a dirt on the result slip. Yi Cheen from my class got Best Performance in Cell Biology. I was wondering why 2 of us received award for the same module. Is it that our marks are the same? However, that's quite coincident too. In the end, we found that award recipients will receive cash other than certs at a later time. Oh yes!!!! I like it simply because I love money.... wahahaha, don't be so serious, I'm just kidding. I think that will probably solve a little bit of my financial crisis though.

A few days after that, i received call from my mum who told me about a letter from Ngee Ann Poly regarding a medal presentation on 23rd Jan 2006. I was surprised and happy to know about it that they actually even present medals to year 1 students. My mum promised that she'll turn up for the function in Singapore. I felt so ...... i don't know what feeling is that.... it's undescribable. Haha~~ I really hope that I will be able to uphold the results and the position for this commencing semester. However, i have a bad feeling about it.... I hope my instinct is wrong and I shall work harder to uphold it for my own sake.

I realised some very serious problem on me recently, something on my hair.... I discovered quite an amount of hair on my table in my room. I supposed that it's a sign of hair problem. I've received warning from my previous hair dresser about it and the nightmare seems arrived earlier than i thought it would. I wonder what is the reason for that. Is it because of my worsening anxiety disorder? I'm quite moody recently for several reasons but at the same time, I was also overwhelmed by my achievement, so that's reli complicated. Maybe sometimes when good and bad things come to your mind together, it'll cause hormonal imbalance. Wahahah~~~ just simply wild guesses. However, what i really hope it's that it will not worsen... or probably not a real hair problem. I reli don't want my forehead to be anymore higher le.

That's roughly for this entry. I realise that i wrote a bit too much and crappy for the first part. Hope you all won't mind about it, ya? Hahaha..... Tata~~

无题~~

转眼之间，新的学期已经过了三个星期，在过多一周就是过了整个学期的四分之一。天啊~~ 时间真的是过得太快了，大家还没来得及好好享受生活，日子就悄悄的溜走了。（真烂的修辞！华语又退步了......）再来说到我的网志，都已经好久没有更新了，简直就像死了一样。（恐怖的比喻......）也该是时候面对了，不能再逃避咯，呵呵~~ 其实每次会想要写网志都是因为有一些心事困扰着我，我想写网志大概可以让我觉得舒服一点吧，毕竟那么就没写，我近来的心情就不怎么好的说。

唉...心事啊，心事，真的是太多了，还是先搁一遍，聊聊些近况吧。最近因为通过朋友的介绍和唆使......呃....不，是邀约（笑~~）迷上了网路游戏。目前正在猛拼的是韩产的网路游戏--枫之谷（英文称为Maple Story)。由于过度沉迷，因此近来每一天都至少凌晨一点才入睡。第二天醒来上课真的是有够我受的了，而且我本身体力又不好，再而且，我这学期除了星期四，剩下四天的课可都是早上八点开始的。庆幸的是，枫之谷是一个免付费的网路游戏，所以我也不用为月费而伤脑筋。总括而言，就是希望我的身体能受得了这样的操劳（白痴，那么累就别玩啦~~）再不然就是但愿我能够早日让自己抽离这个游戏（低能，你知道你自己不行的啦~~）。呵呵~~

昨天在学校停车场遇见了我们上个学期的细胞生物学讲师，也是我们这个学期的微生物学实验讲师的Mrs Tang。他向我提到了新加坡青年及体育部（应该没错...）属下的青年辅导辅助计划（不知道翻译得妥当吗？英文是叫Youth Mentoring Programme）并鼓励我加入成为“导师”（Mentor）。他非常的心急哦，要我当天就给他答复，真是咄咄逼人啊。经过了几番的思考，我最终答应了参加这项活动。在累积经验，学习的同时，我也希望能够结交到更多朋友啦。据Mrs Tang所说，这项活动为期三个月，第一阶段在明年的一月至四月，至于第二阶段的日期尚未公布。由于担心无法应付明年三月的期终考，我选择加入第二阶段的计划。计划的进行方式是由一到两位年龄介于17到30岁的“导师”去引导与协助一组中学生完成一项计划。在成为导师前会有几次的培训，教导我们如何面对工作上的挑战。可以说是一项相当不错的活动，这也是为什么我选择加入了。哈哈~~ 而且每次开会和讨论都会有津贴哦，非常诱人....（贪钱鬼！！）

还有什么值得分享的呢？其实有挺多的啦，毕竟那么长时间没写网志了，现在先挑几个来说吧。由于经济状况所逼而想要找工作的计划到最近有了一些进展。我向令我万分失望的木船民歌餐厅提出了歌乐手申请，回复是说由于应征人数众多，我要等到12月才能够进行面试。（时间不是问题....）之前的事件令我对木船十分的失望，同时也让我自信心大挫。虽然Uncle Sam不断的安慰和鼓励我，但那始终为我留下了阴影。尽管如此，阴影还是要去面对的，这也是为什么我把目标投向了木船，我这么做也是希望能证明给他们看，他们是错的。另外的原因也是因为另一间民歌餐厅，爱琴海的面试次数并没有那么频繁，而且面试的回合很多，麻烦极了。不过，不管怎么样，我还是先去木船面试了再说。至于爱琴海....再说吧。等到我工作到手了，就不用为经济而担心了。我也希望自己能够自力更生，不要那么让父母那么花钱啊。但愿工作能快点来啊~~

今天久违了的网志就先到这里再说吧，我被枫之谷紧紧拉住了，睡前一定要去拼一拼啊！呵呵~~再见咯~~

School's gonna reOPEN~~

Haha~~ I can easily see a lot of spider webs all around my dear dear HaVeN. Neither me nor visitors have been here lately i think. Anyway, here goes the update.

Still left a couple of days before my polytechnic reopens, this should be the last chance for me to slack around lo, hehe~~ New modules and new lecturers are waiting for me in the new semester. I'm quite looking foward to it but it's mixed with a little bit of nervous and worries. I believe that this would be a challenging semester for me as there are modules like sports and wellness (which i don't like and weak in~~) and maths and statistics (which sounds challenging~~). It so happened that our class was allocated a lecturer whom we are familiar with and had been with us throughout the previous semester for the Microbiology Practical session. She is Mrs Tang, our previous Cell Biology lecturer. Just hope that we will have fun and interesting Microbiology Practical sessions for the coming semester with Mrs Tang. Haha~~

I did not go back to Malaysia this weekend and so i've been hanging around in Singapore alone these few days. I have been visiting esplanade for yesterday and today as there were free band shows, haha~~ Went to Kinokuniya a few days ago and bought the chinese version of The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Enjoy reading it recently and i even went to Singapore National Library today just to feel the atmosphere reading it in a library .......silly huh? Haha~~
Actually had been quite boring and lonely recently. I'm going out alone and i just can't figure out who to call along or maybe some people already got there dates or appointment. Xin Ting urged me to get a GF so that i won't be that lonely ....but, is it that easy? Maybe my time has not reach la. However still hope to get someone to accompany me next week as there'll be holidays coming.
After watching a few shows from the bands (should be local bands)at the esplanade these few days, i learnt something and realise that i still got a lot more to learn. Got to know a lot of rock styles played using acoustic guitars, effect boards (not sure of the professional name for it)for acoustic guitars and so much more. I think i have to start learning strumming guitar with a pick. I used to strum using fingers as this is kind of like influence from my teacher who taught me guitar lesson that was half pop and half classical. Using pick to play acoustic guitar really creates a better tone especially when we strum. And, i feel like learning electric guitar after watching those electric guitarists playing. however, i'm sure it will not be easy and i'm wondering where to get this kinda courses also. Furthermore, the fees for learning music is Singapore is 'life'taking (not breathtaking oo, haha~~). I think i should think of my studies first la.

Next Thursday, my younger brother who has not been to Singapore for more than 5 years will come here as two of us are going to watch the very first Ocean Ou De Yang Mini Concert. Ocean as many of us know, he is a mysterious artist who has not been showing his face until now although he already had 2 albums released. So, on the next thursday, he'll show his face and reveal his true indentity to the public or to the world as well. I'm sure many people are eager to know how he looks as his voice is truly mesmerizing. Hope that he will not let his fans down oo. Looking foward to the concert.

Oh my, recently i'm down to financial crisis again ........i need a work and fast. But i was thinking even go for work audition i still need to pay admin fees. Oh my, i still left lotsa important things to buy and to do. God bless me to get over the crisis, hiak hiak~~

我要去吉隆坡了~~

这个假期在家里呆了那么久我终于有机会出去走走啦，呵呵~~ 明天我就要去吉隆坡咯。这次上去的目的之一是要去找一些很久不见的同学朋友，然后再趁此机会去大肆采购一番。因为我的假期就快结束了，要是现在不买好新年衣，慢点就没有机会了。
尽管如此，我现在到吉隆坡去时就不禁会有一些恐惧感，因为我在之前一次，也就是在今年新年前夕到吉隆坡旅行时，我被人勒索了！当时我的手机被拿走了，真伤心啊。不过庆幸的是那些“恶徒”后来把SIM卡还了给我，保住了我的号码和资料。而且，我的皮夹也保住了。呵呵~~ 希望这一次不要再那么衰了咯。
希望这次过去能够有机会和MIFC的才子，伟杰切磋切磋一下。之前一直说要过去但是都腾不出时间，现在终于“落实”了，非常的期待。
今晚又是有值班的一天咯，希望今晚不要遇到“卑鄙小人”。呵呵~~ 准备了一些新歌，希望有机会能够唱到咯。

My apology to my dear haven as I neglected it for such a long time, sorry yeah. However I'm here again right, haha~~

For a few days ago, it was really a bad time for me as I was so sue (hokkien) to have all the untoward incidents happened on me at the same time. On Saturday, I experienced headache and pain on some other parts of body once I woke up. Later on, I discovered secrets of my friend that hurt me a lot. I'm damn sad and I hope this liar without conscience will not appear in front of me again. He'll pay for the lies he told, I told myself. At night, I went working at Halo Café and that day, I was partnering with two of my so call 'seniors' from Halo Café, KL. I always have bad impression towards the KL Halo crews as for their arrogance and pretence. The duty that day worsened my impression. They acted pro on the stage and ignored the topics I suggest, this has made me looked like an idiot talking to myself. I'm transparent! Some more, I was in bad mood after the previous untoward incident. The guy who's a guitarist and also a singer kept on pushing the responsibility of singing to me whenever his turn arrives. This is unfair, you lazy bump!! As for the girl, she herself as only a singer is required to read out the song request slips from the customers because she is the freest person on the stage. However, she pushed all the slips to me without sprouting a word. You were boycotting me right, you despicable 'seniors'. Was it just because I commented on the KL attitude on the meeting and so I got these? I was damn disappointed towards Halo Café; I've devoted so much to it. Haiz…

Nothing special happened the next day except for the visit to Grandma's house at Muar and the accident where I cut my finger when I was trying to clean the razor after I used it. Luckily, the razor just peeled off a thin layer on my left index finger. If it's serious, I will not be able to work in short time as I can't play a guitar with cut fingers. Haha~~

It's now time for yesterday. My brother and I went to shop at Wira Court and searched for birthday present suitable for my dad as he'll be celebrating his birthday tomorrow. In the end, we chose to buy a polo T. At the stationery section, we were trying to find a birthday card specially made for fathers but the fact was, there were cards for brothers, daughters, mothers and even nephews but none for fathers. How sad it was. Therefore, we just picked a rather suitable one. Just hope that dad will like it. Wahaha~~

I'm on duty at Halo Café again at night. Today, I'll be partnering with a keyboardist from Muar and a local beauty. They were really friendly, unlike some others. However, yesterday's show was rather 'cold' as we crapped a lot of lame jokes on the stage. I hope the customers did not got frozen. Haha~~ The keyboardist, Xing Long is an expert in Jazz and blues chords, really impressive. How I wish I can learn something from him like how to substitute normal chords with jazz ones. Anyway, it was enjoyable and fun. That seems brought my heart back to Halo. Oh my, the KL admin office of Halo misspelled my name as 'Tan Yu PinG' again in the salary cheque, I'm going to kill them for that. Haha~~ just kidding.

之前一直在选，我究竟要放哪一首歌呢？最近挑了这一首，因为觉得跟自己之前的心情与想对某人表达的东西是挺相似的。这歌在新加坡是肯定没有机会听到的，所以现在也好跟新加坡的朋友分享一下。这是一首好歌，介绍给大家也希望大家会喜欢。呵呵~~

降临之子与红鞋

我又回来马来西亚咯，相信我这次会在这里呆蛮久的。呵呵~~ 当然，为了打发日子，我又去买了两部DVD电影，最终幻想7降临之子（Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children）还有红鞋（The Red Shoes）。

降临之子的故事是延续电玩版最终幻想7的故事，那些最终幻想迷应该会对这个很有兴趣吧。我想我大概也可以算是其中一个迷儿。电影里面的动作啊，人物啊，真让人无法想象完全是由电脑动画制成的，真的是太逼真了。人物也好唯美啊，也许只有在人们的幻想中才会有那么漂亮，那么完美的人吧。情节是挺精彩的，不过完全不了解最终幻想7的朋友大概就会看的一头雾水咯。值得一看啦。这里放几张特写上来分享分享，呵呵~~

接下来的红鞋就是一部恐怖片啦。呃….我真的都只喜欢看恐怖片哦，难道我真的像卖DVD的人所说的，是“变态”吗？哈哈~~ 大家要小心我咯。红鞋是一部韩国电影，我也是靠看字幕才看得懂故事的啦。好复杂的一部电影啊，情节一直在古代和现代跳来跳去的，差点看得我头晕了。故事大略是说，有一双受到死去的主人诅咒的红高跟鞋，被一个有轻微精神分裂的白领主妇捡到。由于那高跟鞋很美，主妇身边见到它的朋友都想把它抢走，但结果那些人都一个个离奇死亡了。最后才知道原来那些人都是被那位主妇杀死了。呃……人还真恐怖。这么可怕的电影，还是不用放特写了吧？感觉我好像在写影评耶，大家不要看到无聊了哦。

最近啊，发觉自己的体能越来越差，越来越不行了。以前一次可以做五十下掌上压，现在要做十五次都似乎有点问题。我到底是怎么了哦？事什么原因造成的啊？真糟糕，我下个学期还有一个体育的科目要上啊，我可不想因此不及格啊！而且我到现在还没有想到要选择哪一项活动哦。不过说回来，我至今唯一不及格的考试便是我中学时候的体育考试耶，笑….. 我想这大概跟我一天两餐的饮食习惯有关吧，看来不能再“翘餐”咯。呵呵~~

今天就到这里啦，感觉有点懒了的说。哎呀…..感觉上，我的文笔好像越来越烂了耶，写了看起来好像小学作文，真是不得了了。这都是不努力阅读的缘故啦，哈哈~~

A Fine Day~~

Today is Friday and some how it's a nice day to me as i'm going to Esplanade again lo! Today Esplanade will have Rock Band performance by some Band Competition winners at the Waterfront Outdoor Theatre. The attractive part of it is that the show is totally FOC (Free Of Charge)!
Woke up quite late in the morning (10.30a.m.)as i slept at 4 a.m. yesterday. This is all my laptop's fault, i was defragmenting it's drives yesterday and dozed off half way through. When i suddenly woke up, i just realised that the defragmentation failed and it's already 4 a.m. Damn! Wondering why my com took so long to defragment, fed up! Haha~~ Anyway, woke up and chatted with some friends until afternoon without any breakfast or lunch or brunch.... as if i'm on diet. Haha~~ Set off on my journey at about 5 like that. For the first stop i went to Bras Basah Complex. Boarded the bus without knowing my ez link credit dried up, the reader beeped....so embarassing, used cash in the end. Actually i went to Bras Basah to get a reed (a piece of vibrating 'wood' that creates sound for woodwind instruments) for myself. The reeds at the club are too fragile and easy to break so i wan to get one for myself. Bought it at Swee Lee (famous for it's music stuffs) and browsed for some instruments there. I'm drooling for the saxophone and the keyboards but they are all $1000+ SD, too expensive for me to afford. Probably get one after i got my job, haha~~ I'm quite angry with the staffs there as they have no efficiency. I paid them but just for me to get back my change, i waited for more than 10 minutes. They were busy with other stuffs such as some one who bought a 1000+ electric guitar so just ignored some one who just bought a piece of reed........unfair...... After that i went to the Mc Donald's next to Bras Basah Complex to have my brunch / linner or whatever. Carried on with my journey to Raffles City after that.
In fact, my destination is Marina Square and just passed by Raffles City. Oh my...Marina Square is so 'complex'....i almost lost my way in there. That's probably because they are upgrading and a lot of paths are blocked. It took me some time to find the Music Dreamer Live! Cafe （爱琴海民歌餐厅). It's another music cafe in Singapore other than the Ark Cafe at the Apollo Centre. Checked out the details on hiring singers and instrumentalists and i found out that the nearest audition is on the coming monday (10th Oct 2005) which i will not be able to make it as i will be in Malaysia at the time and i did not have my dear guitar with me. Anyway, i'll just wait for another session when school reopens, hoping that i can get myself a job as soon as possible. Oh.....i'm so money-minded, hiak hiak~~
Crossed over the road to Esplanade after the 'spying' session and went straight away to the Outdoor Theatre. However the show was still in preparation. Therefore i went 'lepakz' at the Library @ Esplanade. It's nice and comfortable inside (good for nap......bleargh). I simply browsed through some books on Jazz (however i'm not really familiar with it) then went down to the theatre again. The show finally started with a band called 'Bismuth'. I didn't actually enjoyed their performance as it is too......i don't know how to put it....just too noisy and doesn't suit my taste. I almost slept although the music was so loud. A bit disappointed but expecting something better from 'Audio Insanity' later. Repeated my the same thing at the library just to get rid of the interval. Then at last, it's 'Audio Insanity'!! They are really great and they have a quite complete band (drummer, keyboardist, bassist and guitarist) with a strong and poweful voice--the singer. If i have not mistaken, 'Audio Insanity' arose from the Song Composing Club of Ngee Ann Polytechnic and one of it's members is the Project Superstar Finalist, Derrick Hoh Wei Jian (Fans! Don't scold me if i spelled his name wrongly, haha~~). They are insanely great and quite professional i think. The female singer even sang Hero from Mariah Carrey which is an extremely difficult song to sing. Her skill is undeniable, great. People even encored for another song after that.
Hoho.... i'm so long winded huh. Paiseh la....i really enjoyed today. I'm going home to Malaysia tomorrow lo. Bye~~

学期成绩公布了~~

哇哈哈~~今天总算有些开心的事情值得一提啦！其实也没有那么糟啦，只是最近假期真的是无聊的透顶了，没有什么有趣的事情分享。现在我是想今天的日志应该不要写太长的好，不过正所谓“现在不知耽会儿事”，等下如果写的太长就要多多包涵啦！呵呵~~
现在就先和大家分享一下昨天的经历吧。这几天，无聊的我每天都跑去新加坡的滨海艺术中心闲晃 (星期一到星期三)。不过这样的闲晃倒是没有白费啦，在那当儿，我也随手拿了一些册子。我这才发现那里的节目真的很多很丰富噢。尽管如此，这几天一直到处的跑，害得我的易通卡就快“触”爆了。我最厉害就是在两天以内花20新元的交通费。现在开市后悔这个月没有申请学生优惠卡了。呵呵~~昨天去滨海艺术中心 (亦成为榴莲壳)看了一场由新加坡国立大学音乐系 (NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory)管乐组学生们的表演。真不愧是国大音乐系的，他们真的是好赞啦，也很专业的说。唯一可惜的是，我想要看的萨克斯管 (也就是我正在学的萨斯克风)并没有在他们队伍里。昨天的表演队伍里有双簧管 (Oboe)，单簧管 (Clarinet)，长笛 (Flute)，巴松管 (Bassoon)，倍巴松管 (Contrabassoon)，小号 (Trumpet)还有法国号 (French Horn)。哇~~为了这些乐器的中文名字，我可是在网上奔波了好久啊。在这些乐器当中，巴松管是我从没见过的，也是我们乐团里面没有的。它们总共呈现了十首曲子，都很好，可以说6新元是值回票价了。我好希望还能来看这样的演出啊。现在我虎视耽耽便是本月16号在滨海艺术中心演奏厅演出的Cincinnati流行交响乐团的演出。不过他们的票价可不便宜 (目前剩下40新元的)，因此，目前在努力赚钱，希望能有机会去看看。呵呵~~
至于今天发生的就是更快乐的事啦。我们学校上学期的成绩公布啦，而且我算非常满意这个成绩。成绩如下：

成绩大致我都满意但是为什么会有一科老鼠屎在里面呢？纳闷...... 那个Individual & the community我应该没有做错了什么吧，这差距也未免........ 我恨死IAC的Mr Tham了，每天上课都没有教课，有通告也不通知学生，不负责任到极点。这个科目真的是IAC--I 会死(福建话--eh si)。不过，这个科目没什么用处而且学期已经结束，也意味说我不必再见到他啦，呵呵~~ 之后我也把消息告诉了妈妈，他应该是蛮开心的吧，我想。虽然是如此，这只是第一个学期，我还有5个学期要过呢，现在就自满就等于自寻死路啦。我接下来的学期一定要更努力，希望不会有老鼠屎事件再次发生。接下来的学期我想应该更严苛了，希望我还撑得住。哈哈~~

I have neglected my dear dear Haven for some time again, how bad I am..... However, that is actually because there is nothing special happen around me for these few days, thus I have nothing to crap about. Instead, I suffered from a few occasional headaches recently. How horrible.... dengue fever is raging in both Malaysia and Singapore and i happened to have an ex-classmate who contracted the disease. I hope my headache is not a sign of that scary thing.
Maybe, probably, possibly i thought too much la as i drank a little wine on the 29th and that may contribute to my headache. I was so shocked that dad asked us to enjoy the wine, hehe~~ It's a bottle of white wine (not sure of the type) and i enjoyed it with some of my dad's friends. The wine is quite nice and sweet though. I was a little bit drunk although i took only a little. Then, i got a miserable day yesterday because of the wine (so lousy one....haha). Sleepiness spooked me throughout the day.
As for today, my parents went on a business trip to Kota Bahru which is far away in the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia. They caught a flight early in the morning and will be back at night. Therefore, i've been assigned to become the driver of the day. Haha~~ Sending my siblings to shop, to tuition centres and so on. Got a little flu when i woke up in the morning and luckily it's okie now, otherwise i won't be able to work tonight lo. There'll be duties for me tonight at Stay Cafe. Bless me lo...... I hope i can do well for this first time at this new cafe, however, sleepiness haunting me again... hahaha~~
How boring the holiday is......any nice program to spice up my holiday? Haiz.... i'm going back to Singapore tomorrow for a week. Need to attend band practice lo as i've already missed that for a week. Till here then.......i hope i have more interesting things to share with you all in my next update. Tata~~

好久不见~~

终于将我的电脑format好了，久违久违。呵呵~~ 真的有好多天没有上来更新了，不知道是否有人注意到呢？发觉似乎没有什么人上来阅读我的网志哦，有点伤心的说。不过，还是要感谢那些一直有上来参观参观的朋友啦，尤其是Brian, Susan女王还有庭，谢谢你们咯！现在的我正在用视窗XP内建的中文输入程式来打字，好不习惯啊，而且有很慢。我想等我打一篇像以往那么长的网志可要耗掉我半天的时间啊。好！决定了，等下一定要在我还没发疯前安装南极星。
最近的这几天，我都回来马来西亚老家过了。直到现在才发觉假期并没有想象的好玩，有趣；相反的，只有寂寞和无助伴随着我（说到很可怜这样，切！）。原因就是找不到工作啦。再贴切一点应该说是没有办法找工作，因为我也许会两地跑啊，所以不可能会有给我的工作。每天呆在家里，不然就是店里，真的好无聊啊。现在竟然还怀念起上学的日子哦。人就是那么矛盾啦，得不到不快，得到了又不想要，糟糕啊~~不过，生活还不是那么糟啦，我刚刚帮自己找到了一份差事。呵呵~~其实就是今晚到海螺餐厅去弹唱啦。不过想到薪水要一两个月后才能领我就有点没力。哈哈~~
这几天没事做，俺便去买了几片DVD回家看，让我过过瘾啦，因为已经蛮久没去电影院啦。看了恐怖的House Of Wax和经典的歌剧魅影。前者的杀人特效真的让人咋舌，连我看了都有点恶心的说。建议胆小又还没看这部戏的朋友千万别去看哦，我可不是开玩笑哦，哇哈哈~~ 昨天才看完的歌剧魅影就蛮不错的。之前只有听过它的歌剧精选曲子，现在曲子和影像一起欣赏，可真是一大享受啊。尽管如此，本人还是觉得第一代的歌剧魅影，也就是由沙拉布莱曼(Sarah Brightman）和麦可克拉夫特(Michael Crawford)演出的那个版本会比较好，尤其是在歌剧院怪人的演唱方面。其实还蛮喜欢西方的歌剧的，如果有朋友有哪部的原声带，可以与我分享分享一下吧？呵呵~~
明天就是我们谱尔町老师兼顾问，Uncle Sam的生日咯。身为学生的我们当然要上去为他庆生咯，相信明天以内我是没法回家而要住在麻坡了，当然也就意味说明天不会有更新咯，呵呵~~（其实是偷懒的借口吧？）
今天就到这里为止吧，我快让这打字程式气死了。下次再见咯！

A Lonely Day~~

Oh my....another day just passed quietly without being noticed and today is a rather boring and lonely day to me as there is no school.
I woke up rather late at about 9.45 am after a few times of nagging by my handphone(Hehe....i set the alarm la...). After that, onlined and completed the blog update that left yesterday nite blurly. Just when the clock touched 11 then only i realised that i have a mission immpossible assigned by my landlord which is to help him to buy a legacy computer power supply unit at Sim Lim Square.
Before going to Sim Lim Square, i stopped at the Parco Bugis Junction to have my 'brunch' :P I enjoyed a Tori Karagge Don(not really sure of the spelling) at the Koh San Japanese Food outlet which i quite like it. While eating, i saw the chef preparing Sashimi from fresh fish. The fish was rather large and the knife just ran here and there over it. You won't miss to see the inside of the fish too, ewh....... luckily i'm quite ok with this kinda scene, if not, i'll just vomit. However, frankly speaking, Sashimi really nice leh. Haha~~
After that, went on foot to Sim Lim Square in the rain. Thank god i brought the umbrella but my shoes were soaked... :'( Holding the spolit mini leagcy discontinued computer power supply unit(really got lotsa adjectives), i ran from shop to shop in search of a replacement for it. In the end, it turned out that none of the shops in Sim Lim has a stock of it. Uh......i wasted my time. Hehe~~ Never mind, at least i found a shop that interested me. 3 sets of Chinese original PC games(not new ones of coz) onli cost SD$19.90. Woah, i wanna buy, but certainly not now as i am facing financial crisis now. Haha~~
At night, i went for band practice at school. Surprisingly, I'm the only one in my section who turned up today except for those section seniors la. Oh....lonely lonely me, i have to practice on my own without any senior coaching and this has not changed since the begining. I'm kinda disappointed actually....but i wonder is it because i seldom turn up? Seriously speaking, they don't even bother to inform me about practice dates and news about band even though one of them has my handphone number. I blew the saxophone with all my might on my own and played some pieces i chose and make up the notes by myself, don't know when will i be able to step onto the stage and perform with the rest of the band..... I found that i seem very hard to mix with the band members leh, i am kinda timid and unsociable at times. Maybe it's caused by how i speak, i was afraid that i might stutter when i'm talking to them as my English is not that good. Oh.....i don't want to be an outcast, i should try to mix with them better and brush up my english as soon as possible. Haha~~ Anyway, played and learnt a piece called Diamond Dust after listened to Benedict playing a part of it today. It's a Japanese song and the theme song of a Japanese drama, Ice World i think. It's nice and thanks to Ben for giving me the inspiration accidentally, otherwise i won't know what song to play. I'll put the song up here when i got d mp3. Hahaha~~

失敗﹐挫折﹐打擊﹐我還能說什麼啊﹖

這兩天﹐一連串的失敗﹐挫折和打擊找上了我﹐真不知道要怎麼應付啊......
昨天是我期待已久的木船歌唱比賽初賽。信心滿滿的我帶著愉快的心情前往賽場。我萬萬沒有料到﹐這場比賽將會是我最恐怖的一次惡夢。昨天的比賽採用的是七選四的制度﹐四位入選的將進入半決賽。我跟往常比賽一樣﹐在上場前開聲﹐練唱﹐一切都非常順利﹐但不舒服的喉嚨的確讓我擔心了一下。我抽中了編號二﹐還算OK的編號。比賽開始之際﹐司儀大概講解了比賽的流程﹐但慢著﹐怎麼他沒有介紹評判啊﹖真的好奇怪﹐就連評判是誰﹐在那裡﹐我一點概念都沒有。沒兩下子就到我上場了。開始時一切都還好﹐只是音樂稍微有些不對勁(非常小聲而且朦朦的)。一直到了假音的部份﹐不知道什麼原因﹐我失誤了一兩個音。當時真的好擔心﹐好氣憤﹐不過後來看到其他的參賽者的實力並非很強﹐我就比較放心了。到了比賽成勣揭曉時﹐我愣著了..........我落選了......傷心之余﹐莫名其妙的感覺也涌上來了。怎麼會這樣啊﹖我問自己。我還怕自己耳朵有問題﹐故意跑去櫃檯問了侍應生多一次﹐結果還是沒有改變。這應該是我有始以來第一次參加比賽連初賽都過不了關的吧﹐而且還是七選四﹐人數少得可憐的噢﹐快瘋了~~ 天啊﹐我要怎麼告訴我的家人和Uncle Sam﹖我最後還是鼓起勇氣給家人和Uncle Sam發了信息。他們大概都嚇到了吧﹐尤其是Uncle。他無話可說﹐不知道該怎麼安慰我。我越來越不想要參加歌唱比賽了﹐越比真的就越沒信心﹐我好灰心啊。儘管如此﹐我還是不會放棄歌唱的﹐但是﹐我這次的失敗是否意味着我沒有辦法進入木船了呢﹖暫且不要想啦﹐我須要一些時間冷靜一下。
唉....今天又再次給我的筆記型電腦搞瘋了。防毒軟件出問題(笨ACER給的NORTON竟然是試用的..)﹐電腦速度媲美龜速﹐無線網的訊號接收更是“好”(爛啦﹗﹗)得不得了。現在用這電腦﹐要在我房間上一下網都辛苦﹐上沒兩分鐘就斷線。氣起來真的好想把他砸了﹗﹗又是一件在一個週末以內就改變了的事﹐為什麼這種事情總是找上我咧﹖納悶啊........這週末回去﹐我鐵定要把電腦重灌﹐否則我會先發瘋。要是海螺願意發那個姍姍來遲了三個月的薪水給我﹐我會逼自己把那廢物256MB的DDR2 RAM換掉﹐不然難消我心頭之恨。呵呵~~ 我想我以後大概再也不買ACER的筆記型電腦了。
我今天做了一件很失控的事﹐就是信息了一個人要求一樣東西。我事先完全沒有好好想過這樣做究竟妥當嗎﹐那個後果會怎樣﹖最後﹐我發現我似乎做錯了﹐那個人似乎不願意回應我..... 我感覺我近乎失去了一個朋友﹐我好氣自己啊。然而﹐在這過程中也讓我發現了那個人的秘密﹐一個讓我痛心但是卻又不明白為了什麼而痛心的秘密。哈哈~~好亂是吧﹖不好意思啦大家﹐我每次都這樣。我那麼做是希望我把它打出來﹐自己心裡會好過一點.....
今天就到此為止吧﹐下一次更新一定要是一篇快樂的網誌。呵呵~~

Tonight~~Competition @ Ark Music Cafe

Finally, the competition is here. Although it is just the preliminary round, I'm still kind of nervous. Haha~~ Just backed to Singapore this morning and still quite tired after the long journey. Oh my god..... my throat seems don't wanna cooperate leh, tickling me all the time and it's kinda dry right now, i hope that it'll be alright by the time night falls. I have received smses and messages from friends wishing me good luck for the night and i really appreciate that, thanks you all.
A few days ago, i was busy with some performance with popteen and since one of our members already went to Taiwan, our workload had been increased tremendously. It was a performance on a wedding on the Lantern Festival(18th September 2005) and it's nice to see couples got together, really touched. Before the performance at night, i went to another wedding ceremony in the afternoon. It was my aunt's wedding and she looked gorgeous. Haha~~ Well, it is kinda weird to attend so many wedding ceremonies on the same day though.
Yesterday, before turning in, i was troubled by what to wear for today's competition. Uhh..... this does not suit the song, ohh...... this one looks so outdated.....i really have a lot of complains about it. My mum who was trying to match me the outfits was quite annoyed too. Haha~~ at last i realised i should have decided on this kind of things earlier. Hiak hiak~~ After all the nuisance, i went online for a while before sleeping. Surprisingly, i met Mrs Tang and she gave me a great opportunity to contribute to the school. I was really delighted and honoured to hear that. However, it is still not confirmed yet lah. Haha~~I am so excited now and i hope it'll really come true.
I think i'll end my post here. Hope that you all will like the new layout of my blog, spent quite some time to find it. More changes and updates will come soon. Currently, i think you all will be able to listen to a song at my blog but it will take sometime for it to be downloaded. 海螺之行~~

我回來咯﹐回到網誌也回到馬來西亞咯(其實你每個星期都會回吧....)。今天就算是我這個學期假的正式開始咯。長達六個星期的假期究竟要怎麼過呢﹖今天不禁問了自己﹐我想我會無聊到死耶。目前期待著和家人到吉隆坡的旅行﹐我要購物﹐我要購物﹗﹗呵呵~~ 剩下的假期日子也許會有一半在馬來西亞過﹐一半在新加坡過吧。我是那麼計劃的啦﹐不過就象福建話說的一樣--單說是不用本錢的﹐到時還是會有變卦的可能性啦。哈哈~~
就挑我今天的其中一件事和大家分享一下吧。回到BP(我的家鄉)後真的好無聊噢﹐一下子生活好象又沒有目標了﹐頹廢了一下。晚上的時候就和家人到BP海螺餐廳去聽一聽歌。不知道我在之前的日記有沒有提過我曾經是那裡的歌手﹐但後來因為種種因素所以就有好一段時間沒有去了呢﹖今天值班的朋友是家慧﹐芊婷還有Andy。看到大家在唱歌自己心裡也癢了起來。雖然大家有邀我上去唱﹐但是因為我穿著拖鞋(不合餐廳規矩)﹐不能上場﹐只有在臺下看的份。看到Andy彈著自己心愛的新的KORG鍵盤﹐真的好羨慕噢。不過一架RM13000的寶貝不是我負擔得起的啦﹐我有現在的APX-9C已經很滿足了。
稍後還遇到了老闆之一的Jeffrey﹐聊著聊著便問我幾時有空回來唱幾天啊﹐反正是假期。到櫃檯見到如憶姐﹐他也問我幾時回來唱啊﹖我想了很久﹐我開始慌了(.....好熟悉的歌詞啊....)﹐我究竟應不應該回去呢﹖我曾經答應過幾個人說我不會回去唱了﹐但是如今我的心裡卻很動搖了。雖然說回去並不是什麼大問題﹐但是我有違背原則的感覺﹐人家怎麼看我呢﹖表演結束過後﹐Andy找我聊了一下﹐向我和我媽吐苦水。今天是本月16號﹐他就已經在這個月當了14天的樂手(只休息了兩天﹖﹗﹖)。他的遭遇真是讓我們目瞪口呆﹐不過真的辛苦他了﹐BP就只剩下他一位樂手撐著大局。他申訴著說就連上臺的享受如今都成了他的壓力。這更讓我想回去﹐助他一臂之力。每天那麼站3小時彈鍵盤可不是好玩的啊﹐真的好累。不過就一切隨緣﹐走一步算一步吧﹐我想我大概會回去吧......
星期二要參加久違的比賽咯﹐明天會帶自己去理一下“亂草”﹐不然到時我可打理不了它啊﹐呵呵~~除此之外﹐還要帶我麻煩的寶貝電腦去format﹐又要花錢咯。真的是到了自己獨自出外生活才會意識到花錢容易賺錢難的道理﹐真的應該要節儉一點(但不是吝嗇啦...)咯。今天就到這裡咯﹐下回見~~

Finally, I'm back here in Avin's Haven, back to my blogging days again. Woah......how many days since I last blogged. I've skipped blogging for about 3 weeks which is nearly a month, how long these days are...... Many incidents happened around during my absence in Avin's Haven and i was not able to record it down and share with all. There goes my cell cycle key regulators presentation for the lecture group (quite satisfied with it...(",) ), the Finals of Popteen Student Idol Singing Competition at Muar, Malaysia (quite successful as for opinion), the 1F06 class outing to Sentosa Siloso Beach (it was really fun....), the leaving of one of our Popteen members, Xin Ting for Taiwan to further her studies in Mass Communication (some of us cried at the airport but definitely not me....), the stupid diarrhea which haunted me for nearly a week (damn uncomfortable but at last i'm well now....) and also our semester exam which has just ended TODAY. Simply too many things happened and i was not able to mention everything but that is roughly how my life was during the non-blogging days. It is sured that this post will be quite long so I may need a little bit of patience from you all loh, haha~~
I was sick and busy preparing the exam lately and that is why i didn't blog. Some of my friends just wonder why and they asked me. Haha~~that shows that at least someone has been reading my blog but i wonder if they are still doing it currently, hiak hiak!! For the days ahead, my updates may not be consistent too as i still have something to work with, for example, the preliminary round of Ark Cafe Singing Competition,SG next week on Tuesday. I need intesive practice for it as i already had not been stepping onto competition stage for nearly a year and i'm very nervous now, legs and body shaking...... There are about 7 days of preliminary and altogether about 60 contestants. Just hope that i'll be lucky enough to make it through this first round of competition. I chose the song 會有那麼一天 by JJ Lin as my competition song. Anyone heard of the song? It's a nice song which people around me esp. my mum and i like. Haha~~
The final exam of my first semester has just ended today. Today i was sitting for the Organic and Biological Chemistry paper and the day before i sat for the Cell Biology paper. Both papers are ok for me as there are both easy portion and difficult ones esp. some conversion of trans isomers to cis isomers in the OBC paper today. Some people misread "produce cis from trans" as "produce trans from cis" and this is exactly what happened to me during my common test, I hope it will not happen again in the future. For the moment, i just hope that i can get satisfying results for all the modules of this semester. As holidays coming, i'll enjoy and rest myself first before the next busy semester steps in.
Recently, i got something that keeps on troubling my mind and it makes me a little bit....little bit depressed?!?! (is it PMS or menopause?? nonono surely not, haha) My stupid laptop which has been giving me trouble lately (i'll format you, dear laptop!) worsened the situation. I just hope that 'the thing' can quickly vanish from my mind so that i can enjoy my holidays, yeah!!

細胞生物學作業報告~~

今天是星期四﹐終于是我們這學期最後一項作業報告的報告日了。我真的好期待這個日子的到來﹐因為最近幾個禮拜大家都為了不同科目的報告而忙﹐真的是已經筋疲力盡了。學長們說第一年這個數量的報告只是小兒科﹐以後還會有更多.....真的是昏死人了﹐看來我們還要點時間來適應一下﹐呵呵~~
如題﹐我們今天做的是細胞生物學的報告。我真的很“幸運”﹐為我和我的組員們抽到了一個非常困難的題目﹐那就是細胞週期的key regulators(一時不知道要怎麼翻譯﹐呵呵~~)。剛開始拿到題目時﹐天啊......這個是什麼東東啊﹖經過一番研究終于知道那些是細胞裡控制細胞週期的蛋白質和酵素。我和組員們一早就跑到學校趕報告。儘管如此﹐我最後還是遲到了.......都怪自己慢吞吞﹐power point做那麼慢。去到教室門口看到Mrs. Tang黑著臉看著我們。@#$%#%.......被訓了一頓﹐差點兒還不准我們進課室。匆匆忙忙進到課室﹐把電腦和投影機設置好後就趕快開始了。就這樣﹐我們開始報告.....一人接著一人。最後﹐老師評論時竟然稱讚我們噢﹐而且對我們的報告很滿意﹐真高興也很意外噢。呵呵~~他的臉現在倒是沒有那麼黑了。
上課最後﹐老師要求我們組員周一時再報告一次給整個科系的學員。哇~~這真是莫大的榮幸﹐還真有受寵若驚的感覺。
晚上時﹐因為要到木船餐廳去交歌唱比賽的報名表格所以又翹了樂團的練習(我真是無藥可救啦....)。原本打算自己一個人出去吃飯然後再去木船﹐結果在家裡撞見也要去吃飯的房東和太太。他們邀我一起去吃(真是太好運啦﹐哇哈哈~~)。而我也不客氣地答應啦﹐呵呵~~ 我們先到克拉碼頭的木船交表格﹐接著大家就到小印度去吃飯。
我是第一次到小印度﹐現在才知道這個地方的名字是取得多麼的貼切﹐因為到那裡就會看到一片“黑”海。那裡大部份的居民都是印度同胞﹐街道還保留得蠻古老的﹐很不錯的地方。我們把車停了就進到一間咖哩味非常濃郁的餐廳。我房東叫了幾樣菜(還有咖哩魚頭噢~~)我們就開動了。本人覺得真的很好吃﹐好香﹐是正宗的印度菜。不過....是辣了一點﹐害我和房東太太都投訴了。不過那麼好吃﹐辣死無憾啦......開玩笑的﹗
就這樣﹐一天有那麼的過了。時間真的是過得太快了﹐再過不久我們的學期就要結束了﹐但願我能再期考前衝刺衝刺一下﹐呵呵~~ 今天就寫到這裡咯﹐再見~~

Oooo.....someone out there must be cursing me already because of the inconsistence of my blog. Last weekend i was quite busy with things in Malaysia. As what i have mentioned in the previous post, a few of my friends and i who formed Popteen(This is our vocal group, we sing together, Popteen rox~~) organised a Student Idol Singing Competition in Muar, Johor, Malaysia and last sunday was our preliminary round of the competition held at Nightless City Karaoke. All the members of Popteen and our advisor Uncle Sam was rushing here and there for the sake of this competition. I was in charged of the registration booth and there was really a lot of hassles. Fortunately, our preliminary round turned out to be quite successful although a few of the registered contestants did not turn up(as long as they have paid their registration fees, who cares whether they turn up or not leh, wahahaha<------EVIL~~). I met quite a number of friends which i knew from singing competitions i used to participate. Watching them competing really itched my throat, but too bad, i am one of the organisers so i would not be allowed to take part lo. I really have not been participating in singing competition for quite a long time, more than half a year and this seems deteriorated my skills leh. I think i better buck up now for the September competition at Ark Cafe Singapore. Gambateh~~
I did not stayed long after the competition, instead, i rushed back to Batu Pahat with my family and Alvin immediately as i had to catch a bus to Johor Bahru and to Singapore at 7.30pm. It was tiring and I slept wholeheartedly on the bus. When i arrived nearly at the Johor Bahru custom checkpoint, i was stunned. Oh gosh, the jam was horrible. Some of us who cannot stand the jam just stepped down from the bus and walked to the checkpoint. Similarly, the queue for the bus was long too. In the end, I arrived at my house in Singapore at about 12AM!! My landlord even locked the door already. Luckily he was still awake and heard my calling, if not, i would have to sleep outside the door (So pathetic oo......).
The following day, we had an experiment for Cell Biology on Human Genetics and we were ordered to taste a weird but safe chemical called PTC. Some of us managed to taste the slight bitterness of the chemical while some of us do not and this is all related to our genetic materials. As for me, i was not really sure about whether i am a taster because a weird feeling haunted me when i tasted the thing, i seemed felt the taste but not that obvious actually. Nah.....i did not care so much about it and i just put myself as "taster", wahahaha~~(don't know why is it so happy to be the taster....) This will be our last session of Cell Biology Lab Practical and next week, we'll be facing the practical exam. Sienz.....need to study again, some more clashed with the finals of our competition, I think i'll be having another tedious and tiring weekend lo, God bless me.......
For today, tuesday, as usual, we had long hours in school with 4 hours of lectures chunk together in the morning. During the Cell Biology Lecture, Mrs. Tang brought up the performance of our lecture group during the LSCT Staff and Students' Day. We were given 3 choices of songs which i'm only familiar with one of it which is More Than Words(i'm quite outdated when speaking about English songs..). In the end, we came up with the song All About You(if I'm correct la). Mrs. Tang chosen a few students to stand in front of the lecture group and lead them to sing and "fortunately" i'm one of them. OMG, i'm totally infamiliar with that song and they want us to dance too.....it's like killing me,haha~~ But i'm sure it would be fun. I think i'll much appreciate it if they choose the song More Than Words as i'll definitely be willing to play the song for all of them. I think this should add some spices to our performance. But, anyway it doesn't matter since the song is set. Furthermore, it'll be troublesome if i need to practice with all if i really "sot sot" go volunteer to be the guitarist. Haha~~
Later on, we had our IT tutorial studying Databases and SQL. It's something quite interesting but complicated though. It's similar to programming where large amount of codes are used to create a database and a search query. Almost all of us got stucked at least once during the exercise(even Mr. Phang got stucked too :P) as the commands are complex and we need to be really particular with the entries.
Oh my.....I dozed off on the bus during the trip back home from school again. Once again, I missed the bus stop at my house. I woke up only at the Queensway Shopping centre bus stop. How embarassing.......i don't know since when i develop that 'syndrome'....arrrgh...i hate it! Since i missed the bus stop, i just alighted and straight away went to Anchor Point food mall for my dinner. After i got home and wanted to online, i just realised that i was unable to search the wireless signal, which meant that my landlord off the router...... @#$%^$%^ i waited until almost 8pm only then i got to online....... what a weird day.......
Guess that is all for now, i think this entry should be quite long as it consists things happened in 3 days, woah~~ i'm going to do my OBC tutorial lo.....tata~~

歹勢﹐丟臉~~

昨天又沒有寫日記咯﹐我真的是太糟糕了啦。哈哈~~不過其實是有原因的啦﹐俺老子昨晚趕那個無聊的資訊報告(上次好象說是信息報告噢﹐那時說錯啦﹐不好意思~~)趕到要四點呢﹐哪會有時間寫日記啊﹖呵呵~~我當然也沒有資格怨天尤人啦﹐都是我自己報告不要提早做好才會落得這樣的下場﹐罪有應得啊~~ 昨天的報告題目是在猶豫好久才決定的﹐原本一點頭緒都沒有﹐一直擔心會被評為抄襲。因為我們學校有一個白痴的turn it in軟件系統啊﹐呈交上去資料庫的文件都要經過它把該文件和網上所有的文件和網頁資訊對比的程序。如果該文件被發現與網上的資訊有超過某指數的相似度﹐那人就準備拿零蛋啦﹐哈哈~~最後選了“圍棋”做我的題目。介紹了圍棋的歷史和一些基本相關資訊。雖然本身不大會玩但是基本的條規和下法還是知道一點的。
早上搭巴士時搭出了醜事。好丟臉啊~~由于昨晚夜車開得太遲早上精神很不好﹐一上了巴士就打瞌睡。之後就一直從家門口睡到巴士轉換站﹐錯過了學校.....無言..... 睡醒時看一看窗外的景物﹐怎麼那麼陌生﹐從來沒有見過。過一會就看到巴士轉進武吉巴督轉換站。天啊﹐已經十點了﹐課都已經開始了。我也沒辦法啊﹐馬上就趕上地鐵(還好那裡正好有地鐵站)去到學校。最後我遲到了30分鐘。所幸老師沒有發怒﹐不然我可就要被修理一頓了。呵呵~~
放學後﹐我和一群朋友到麥當勞去吃午餐。大家好久沒有在一起吃飯了﹐這次算是慶祝所有的作業報告都完結吧﹐哈哈~~吃完後﹐大家就各自走咯。偉泰要去壽司店上班﹐振豪要回學校進行課外活動﹐而我則是要去新加坡關卡回老家咯。接下來的幾天就要為我們譜爾町流行樂者在麻坡舉辦的學生偶像歌唱比賽而忙了。但願一切能夠順利進行....譜爾町萬歲﹗﹗
真的是受不了了﹐再不睡覺﹐我明天就上不了麻坡了。今天就寫到這裡咯﹐再見~~

Ooopppss..... I skipped blogging again yesterday. Haha~~ Sorry for that ah, I was too tired to blog yesterday. Therefore, today's entry will also cover a little bit about what happened yesterday.
Yesterday was Tuesday and all of my classmates and also I were rushing here and there for our OBC(Organic and Biological Chemistry) quiz 2 and the networking project presentation of IT. It was indeed a tiring day as we began our lesson at 8am and it last all the way until 5pm non-stoply. We were all really exhausted. At 8am, it was our OBC quiz 2. It was a quite average paper but the time given was too short. Luckily, Mdm. Teh gave us some extra time unless we wouldn't be able to finish it. Surprisingly, she discussed the quiz questions with us immediately after the quiz. Yeah, I got 3 MCQs wrongly and small mistakes at the short-answering section(although it's not perfect but i'm already happy with it...). The actual paper was given back today and I got 38.5/40 but in the end my 0.5 mark was deducted for ommiting the Hydrogen atoms at the carbohydrates. So, in the end, i got 38/40 and that was already satisfying enough. ^_^ happy.......
Yesterday after the OBC lecture, we continued with our CBIO(Cell Biology) lecture until 12noon. We quickly rushed to the SIM(Singapore Institute Of Management) food court to grab a bite as our IT lecturer Mr. Phang would not have the patience to wait. Haha~~ We started our Networking Project Presentation shortly after that. It was a stressful one as Mr. Phang commented every groups and asked us lot of questions. Just wondering all the time, why do Biotechnology student need to learn IT? Finally i realised the importance now. It's because we need lots of IT stuffs in Bioinformatics and sometimes like sequencing DNA. Anyway, presentation by our group was ok and all thanks to Yi Cheen's brother who is a IT expert. He pointed some mistakes in our proposal and added in some that we left out. Thanks lo...... After the presentation, Mr. Phang announced the results of our Networking Test which was conducted last week. Another surprisingly, Kim Soon, Yi Cheen and I all got A for the test. The coincidential part was that the surname of 3 of us are the same, which is Tan. Haha~~ ^_^happy........again!
Anyway that was a long day of school. At night, I met someone who is really interesting during i was online. This is also someone originally from Malaysia, some more from my hometown. I'm really lucky for getting to know so many Malaysians in Singapore. My OBC and CBIO lecturers are Malaysians, my senior of saxophone group in concert band is a Malaysian and even some of my net pals in Singapore are Malaysians too. We chatted until 3AM!!!!! and that was why i looked so tired today oo but we really had a nice conversation.^_^happy........again x 2(Hiak hiak~~)
Actually nothing much happened today. We just had a rush on our Trends For The Life Science PBL case presentation(Woah, really lots of projects sia.....). We got a new lecturer for this module and she seemed not happy or used to our style of presenting as she commented quite a lot but i believed that it is for our own good.
Later on, we attended the OBC lecture and i had a nice time discussing Mdm. Teh's teaching with my friend Cliff. She taught us Lipids today. I hope we didn't disturb anyone today, haha~~ However, I was quite annoyed by a few girls in front of us. They talked to Mdm. Teh about her teachings in a very inpolite manner as if they were right, made noise and talked craps. I was wondering are they really girls?? I really cannot stand this kind of people. Better that i won't meet them again in the future lectures.
Ehh.....seems that the entry today is mainly about incident happened yesterday. Haha~~ paiseh ah, as this is an early entry(only 7.20pm now) so quite few things about today to be mentioned lo. I wonder will there be anything interesting happen at night. Haha~~ Thought of projects again, -_- That is all for yesterday and today la, tata all~~

本周有很多煩人的作業報告......

今天是星期一﹐原本和“一對”朋友約好要去復習生物化學的計劃因為他們其中一人有事而被迫取消了。至于我嘛﹐也落得清閑咯﹐睡到早上近10點才起身。昨天和朋友聊到我照片裡的刺刺的髮型﹐於是早上就一時興起﹐風騷的抓起髮型來。呵呵~~平時的我在去學校時可是懶惰到連set一下頭髮都不要噢。現在覺得還是必要的﹐這樣人看起來也比較精神點啊(借口﹗﹗)。哈哈~~
今天上的課並沒有什麼注意聽﹐有點覺得無聊(並不是說我會了﹐不用聽﹐而是聽不進去~~)﹐一直跟振豪(我的同學們猜一下這個人是誰吧﹐我們平常都只稱呼他的洋名﹐呵呵~~)瞎聊天﹐相信打擾了不少人。
遲些時間的生物實驗課還算有趣。我們都忙著算玉米的特征(顏色啊﹐表皮狀況啊...),因為今天的主題是與遺傳相關的﹐說到一個聰明和尚的故事。相信有讀過生物的人都知道我在說什麼吧﹖哈哈~~在進行實驗時﹐“雞婆”的我到處向同學解釋這個解釋那個﹐結果弄到自己是最後一個做完報告的。好丟臉啊﹗﹗﹗不過幫了人家的感覺倒是不錯的。呵呵~~
放了學過後﹐和兩位朋友Kim Soon和Si Cheng去金文泰吃飯。邊吃邊聊﹐結果又是我最後吃完﹐一直納悶著﹐呵~~
晚上回到家就準備復習明天的化學考試咯。所幸考試的範圍不算廣(碳水化合物﹐氨基酸和蛋白質)﹐還應付的來。再來的就是這星期最恐怖的作業報告。總共有四五個要呈交並匯報的報告。真是累死人了。大家都忙著趕報告﹐但是我的1000個字的訊息報告完全都還都還沒有頭緒﹐星期五就要交咯。真的是要命啊﹐但願我能儘快有靈感﹐趕好它。不然我可要去跳樓啦。(開玩笑啦~~)
昨天的日記裡提到會放上一些歌曲的連接給大家噢。不過這個計劃要再推遲一點啦﹐因為我目前一直找不到最適合的網上空間來上傳那些歌曲。不是要付費就是最大單一文件的大小有所限制。如果各位有誰知道一些免費又不錯的網上空間可以來介紹一下我吧。哈哈~~ 重重有賞啊﹗(別當真噢~~)
天啊﹐又那麼遲了﹐看來我慢點也要變熊貓了噢。要睡咯﹐就寫到這裡了。再見~~

Back in Singapore again.....

Ohhh.....I am back in Singapore again. Caught the 5 pm bus from Batu Pahat and it happened that i arrived in Queenstown at 8pm and almost 9. Checkpoint jams really kills.....time i mean, hahaha~~ I skipped blogging for 1 day which is saturday. Hehe~~ I am not skipping it for no reason of course. I had been busy with recordings yesterday night until 3am. I only managed to record 1 song which is the official song of MIFC (Guang Liang's Fans Club) in guitar version. As for the other song which i at first wanted to present to someone special, it seems meaningless now. However i will still complete it for myself but i am still waiting for my partner, the keyboardist Alvin to master the piece first. Haha~~ I'll put on a few of my recordings in my blog later and i hope to receive views from you guys out there lo. Mmmm.....but, most of my recordings are Michael (Guang Liang)-related ones la, hope that you all won't mind.
I woke up quite late today. (Nearly 12 noon) Without my brunch (breakfast + lunch :P), I quickly finish the final touch up on my recording which i have not complete yesterday night. Actually i finished it quite late and therefore i quickly rushed for a bath and then went out with my mum for a lunner (lunch + dinner :P). We then headed to the bus terminal.
The day was just that boring. I can still remember what happened last week, the same sunday. We chatted happily and commenting about my hair style. It is still so fresh in my mind but for now, everything has changed. Let's not brood over those things that has passed as what most of my friends told me. Haha~~ But sometimes to walk out from a sad experience seems not that easy to achieve as say is easier than done. Hope that after a good sleep, everything will be normal and well again. Hahaha~~ So idealistic sia?
Actually, I don't have anything interesting to share today so it should be a quite short post. I just hope that you all will enjoy the songs that i'm going to post later and kindly give me some comments and of course critiques. Tata~~

周五﹐回家日,心碎日~~

雖然現在確切的時間已經是周六凌晨3時許了﹐但是﹐我現在卻還在寫著周五的日記。就是為了堅持自己寫日記的決心﹐所以不論是多麼遲﹐我都要來寫一寫 (其實是睡不著吧....)。
星期五又到來了﹐是回家的時候了。儘管如此﹐我並沒有很開心。相反的﹐我漸漸發覺我自己越來越想留在新加坡﹐不象以往那麼期待週末回家了。這似乎違反了我的當初的想法和為自己定下的條規。我開始擔心起來了﹐大家說的沒錯﹐時間真的能夠改變一個人﹐你今天說一定會回家﹐也許再過一年半載﹐你的想法就會截然不同了。然而﹐我不想改變卻又無法阻止自己變成另外一個人﹐真是好諷刺啊。
今天其實根本不用到學校去﹐因為﹐講師授的課根本就是廢話。也正因為如此﹐我沒有很注意的聽課﹐只是在弄著我的電腦。放學後﹐我立刻趕到車站搭車前往新柔(新加坡和馬來西亞柔佛州)關卡。令我感到驚訝的是﹐今天關卡竟然沒有車龍。大概是我比較早抵達吧﹐所以還沒碰到塞車的時間。一切都非常的順利﹐到了拉慶車站後﹐買了回家的車票﹐同時﹐還遇見了很久不見的馬來族學弟。我們閑聊了一會兒。
晚上在家裡上網時﹐竟然讓我發現了一件事﹐一個令我心痛欲絕的事實。他已經找到另一個他了﹐這也就表示﹐我沒有機會了﹐我徹底失敗了.......我好傷心。為什麼他不早點告訴我﹖讓我當了那麼久的傻瓜。我想在這世界上應該沒有比我更愚蠢的人了。還傻傻的發了好多歌詞在日記裡﹐甚至連想送人家的禮物都準備好了。一想到自己愚昧的行徑我真的是受不了。究竟是什麼因素能讓一個人以及他的態度在區區幾天改變那麼多﹖我想要知道答案﹗﹗﹗ (抱歉﹐太激動了)我真的無話可說了......我心碎了.....

Slackin' Day~~

Today is a rather slacking day for me (i think it is for most of my classmates too :P) .This is because we only attended 2 hours of OBC practical in school as the CBIO tutorial lesson had been cancelled by Mrs Tang. She is quite busy here and there for meetings recently, i wonder what are all those meetings about. But anyway, we just enjoyed that short day in school. After the short practical, a few of us went for a really late lunch at abt 2pm. Audrey and I were debating about whether i should stay in school with her to attend the band practice or i should go home first as her 'kor kor' Brian would be going home first. Haha~~ She was nagging......opps....should be advising me to stay with her to accompany her and so i stayed lo. (Audrey, please don't get angry ah...haha~~)
We then straight away went to the club house for practice after our meal. Only the way, James stepped on my new-bought sport shoes which is white in color. I immediately flared up and shouted at James. Brian and Audrey were shocked by my reaction (unlike the normal Yu Pin....i think they thought it this way~~). The emotional me of today should b responsible for my harsh reaction i think. Haiz..... When we got there, we saw a few seniors there resting on the sofas. Woah...the light in the room has been changed to blue, what a cool color. However, it hurts my eyes. We practice on our own since abt 3pm to 6pm. Merrill and a few of our seniors were asking us to stay when we were packing up for leaving. Audrey and I agreed to stay longer in the future but of course not for today la. I hope that i can play together with the whole band too, but i still dun have confidence in my sightreading skill. Furthermore, the seniors in our group did not aid me much. (or prehaps i seldom attend band practice?)Wish that i can master my Saxophone soon lo. Changing instrument seems very troublesome too, so, I will just try it for some more time la.
Despite the slacking, today is a really sad day for me too. Our outing tomorrow is ruined. I wonder is it because of too much of homework and projects need to be done by the someone or someone just don't feel like to go out with me. I felt that our gap is broadening from time to time. I don't even get my reply for SMSes. What is the reason? I wish I know. I even planned to go back to Malaysia only on Saturday, just meant for the date but in the end........ How discouraging...... I became seriously emotional recently. Hope that i can get over it as soon as possible as i still have tons of work to do on the weekends and also next week. I need to arrange and record the guitar version of the official song of the MIFC (Michael's International Fans Club) and also record the songs i mentioned ealier which is meant for someone...wahaha~~. Moreover, there are altogether 5 projects presentation and report need to be handed up next week. Oh my, i hope this semester can end as soon as possible.

唉...我的毛病又犯了啦﹐又想不到主題應該放什麼了。幾番細思量還是決定放這個“無題”的主題 (“廢”到了極點噢~~)。今天是個星期三啦﹐回想一下﹐我寫日記已經一個禮拜了耶﹐還既得利益上個星期三我寫了關於我沒有做習題的事。時間真的是不饒人的啊。本人已經受到一些意見說我的日記太長了啦﹐看都看到要暈了。呵呵~~以後我會收斂一點的啦﹐大家放心。
今天我可是所有功課都有做噢﹐挺高興的說。不過就是熬夜太多了﹐精神很不好。上完化學課後﹐大家趕去參加我校生命科學院的茶會。聽了我們的學院負責人一番講話後﹐覺得還挺“廢”的 (好壞啊﹐我﹗)。不過大家倒是很享受學院準備的茶點啦。其間﹐我還唱了一些歌給同學們聽。我想他們大概是看了我的日記才會叫我唱的吧。我真的很喜歡音樂﹐很享受唱歌。我唱得很開心﹐但願我的同學們聽了也會跟著開心。音樂本來就該為人們帶來喜悅啊。我想這大概是今天唯一能讓我覺得開心的時刻.....
今天其實我的情緒非常不好﹐一直投訴這個投訴那個。我想大概是精神不足和麼一些私人事情造成我的失控的。我已經許久不曾這樣了﹐但是不知道為什麼現在會那麼的...... 我希望我還能夠理智的思考。要對我的老師和同學們說聲對不起啊﹐如果我因為情緒不好﹐有什麼冒犯﹐千萬要多多包涵啊。大不了﹐唱多幾首歌給你們聽(笑﹗)。哇哈哈~~
晚上時﹐做了一件很衝動的事情。儘管如此﹐我還是沒有得到一個答案。真的好失落....是有人在戲弄我嗎﹖我不知道.......

Singapore National Day eve = moody day~~

Woah, today is singapore's National Day eve. This year Singapore will be celebrating it's 40th birthday so it should be quite a special and meaningful one with new Prime Minister and new vision.
I was told by our Cell Biology (CBIO) lecturer, Mrs Tang to wear red for this particular day. She even asked me to pass a round the message, but i only managed to inform a few of my classmates. As i am reli 'obedient' (really??!!), i followed Mrs Tang's advice and wore red. Haha~~ Simply because she informed me personally, ignoring will be quite rude la. After all the 'grooming' for the morning, i suddenly realised that i'm even more patriotic to Singapore than my other Singaporean classmates (just kidding~~) as my t-shirt was red, wrist bands i was wearing are in red and white and the same goes to my new Nike sport shoes. It was really a coincidence, but i really like the combination of red and white la, haha~~ There was even more. When i reached school, my classmates were so shocked by my outfit. Audrey even ask me whether i'm wearing u_der g_rme_t in red. I was 'freeze' by her but for that certainly not red la.
Actually today went to school very much earlier than usual, at about 10am while our lecture starts at 12noon. i went there earlier to revise our Biological Chemistry with a 'couple' of friends, hehe~~ They missed a few lectures and so i tried to revise them as to give them a clearer view. Poor Swee Hong was sick with high fever and severe sore throat. Vanessa was so caring to him, i at the moment was also hoping that i can have someone that cares for me. I really need someone to cure my loneliness. That is why i seriously wish that the someone will accept me..... Probably the moodiness started at the moment. Haha~~ Enough of personal affairs, back to the topic. We were only able to revise until the oxidation of monosaccharides and we still have a long way to go. They agreed that we meet up another day to finish it off.
During the Cell Biology lecture, we had quite a great time with our class, 1F06 completed the quiz given by Mrs Tang in the shortest time and full marks. But what a pity, we did not receive any prize leh, hehe~~ At the end of our lecture, we received National Day goodie bag given by Ngee Ann i think. It consists of a towel, balloon, flag and also the NEW WATER by Singapore. The New Water is really a unique kind of water, for Singaporeans, i'm sure all you guys know how unique it is lo, haha~~ (suspense....) Later on, we sang a few of the Singapore patriotic songs too. I'm quite familiar with a few of those songs as i used to watch Singapore TV channels a lot. We had an interesting time there but that made us late for our CBIO practical. Luckily our lecturer, Mdm Mrinal was understanding and did not penalise us. Whew.......
I just happened to realise that my handphone had ran out of credit when i failed to send a sms today. Therefore, after school, i went to Clementi to get myself a top up card. Really cannot stand if my handphone is unable to function. Haha~~ After reaching home, an idea poped up. I felt like going out to have my dinner and window shopping about at the same time. Without any hesitation, i just gone out. Took the 51 bus and headed to Bugis Junction. Probably due to the moodiness and tiredness, i slept on the bus. Luckily, i did not miss the Bugis bus stop. On the way, i spotted the Apollo Center where the Ark Music Cafe is located in and this had led me to another story then, haha~~ I had a set of Chicken Teriyaki Don at the Bugis Junction Food Court. It was ok but the price is quite high. I guess that is the normal price for Japanese cuisine la. After that, i immediately gave up the intension to window shop, instead, i headed to Apollo Center for Ark Music Cafe. Formerly, I was one of the singers and guitarists of the Halo Music Cafe in Malaysia, that brought up my curiosity to visit there. I have been there once but there wasn't any singers singing at the time. Today, i finally got to have a good view on them. I ordered a cup of peppermint coffee. They even served me with potato chips that i did not ask for, i wonder why (you'll know why later,@#$%@$!!). The singers there sing quite ok but a few of them failed to pitch the song well, thus resulting in flat notes (i seriously didn't mean harm okie? Just a casual remark.). However, i was truly impressed by their instrumental skill. The keyboardist and guitarist are truly experts. How i wish that i can get a chance to interact with them. I got myself a register form for the Ark Cafe Singing Competition too. It has been a long time since i last took part in a competition, so i think this should be a great chance for me to train myself really intensively for the sake of the competition. Anyway, i have not decide whether to take part or not. Haha~~ Finally, the part is here. I was going for bill for my orders. They passed me the bill and i cannot believe what i saw. $18 for a cup of peppermint coffee and potato chips. I nearly fainted. I did not even finish my chips. What other options do i have? I just paid unwillingly. Actually entering this cafe is one of my wishes. So if i really get to be a singer in this cafe in the next semester, i can then escape the high priced junks whenever i feel like to enjoy music.
I think that will be my entry for the time being. It is quite long though, I hope that readers will not get bored when reading my blog. Tata~~

繁忙﹐無奈﹐疲累的一天~~

終于騰出時間來發表一下今天的日記了。其實我才剛剛從外地趕回來﹐簡直是累死了﹐不過﹐我還是硬撐了來寫一寫(其實是因為大半夜還在跟朋友聊天啦﹗)。
就正如我昨天的日記所提到的一樣﹐我今天早上(嚴格來說﹐應該是昨天﹐因為過了12點了~~)一醒來就匆匆忙忙搭巴士趕去麻坡了。過去的目的是要和我Popteen譜爾汀流行樂者的團員們討論我們在8月21日與27日所舉辦的學生歌唱比賽的細節。除此之外﹐我也是要借此機會上去找團員們練習練習歌曲以及樂器和出席一年一度的麻坡中化中學民歌歌唱比賽的決賽。出席了歌唱比賽的感想就是“一代不如一代”。參賽者的水準每況愈下﹐簡直不能和我出席過的前兩屆的參賽者相比。希望明年我還有機會出席並且看到更加優秀的參賽者。呵呵~~
觀賞完比賽過後﹐我們Popteen的成員就馬上開始投入工作了。今天得做的事還真多﹐我們去找了幾個贊助商﹐和報館(不過主管不在﹐呵呵~~)。我還大膽第一次嘗試在交通繁忙的麻坡街道駕車。駕著我們老師那沒有power steering的大馬國產靈鹿車還真是吃力。辦完外面的事﹐我們便回到老師家中開會﹐討論了好多的細節﹐事項。到現在才發覺要舉辦一場歌唱比賽是多麼的不簡單啊。不過聽到倩儀的朋友非常佩服我們只有7﹐8個人的比賽籌委我真的感到好高興。
傍晚和大家共進晚餐時﹐接到了一個令我感到“不爽”的電話。我爸爸竟然向我要求我筆記型電腦的密碼﹐他要用我的電腦。我這個人的怪僻就是不喜歡人家在我視線範圍以外碰或使用我的東西。其中的原因就是怕我的東西會讓人家搞亂了。不過既然是爸爸的要求﹐我也只好答應咯。事後回到家中檢查﹐所幸﹐他只是在我電腦裡裝了一些mp3﹐沒有搞亂我的文件﹐這讓我不禁松了一口氣。呵呵~~
晚餐過後﹐繼續比賽籌備工作。當然在忙碌之余我們也練了一下歌。發覺大家好久沒有一起練歌了﹐有點生疏。我更是糟糕﹐不知道怎麼回事的﹐一直唱得很辛苦。懷疑可能是熬夜過多的關係。而老師竟然說我是身體變差﹐讓我不禁擔心了一下。哈哈~~一直忙到11點﹐我們才收工。相信大家都很累了﹐我當然也不例外﹐不過還得趕回在Batu Pahat的家啊﹐辛苦老遠跑來接我和Alvin的媽媽咯。真的謝謝你﹐我愛你﹗﹗(今天有點不正常﹐呵呵~~)
一直覺得自己是個很羅嗦的人﹐這也是為什麼我的日記都是那麼的長的。看到別人都是比較簡略的﹐在想﹐也許我也應該長話短說點。今天的日記就到這裡先咯﹗順便祝我7號生日的祖母生日快樂。

Back to Malaysia~~

Today is Friday and it is time for me to go back to my 'home sweet home', Batu Pahat, which is in the Johor state of Malaysia. The morning gave me a weird and unpleasant feeling because of the presentation we presented in our Communication Toolkit module (ComT) in school. Due to this formal oral presentation assessment, we were told to dress in formal attire. Formal long sleeve shirt, slacks and leather shoes....... I did have the shirt, slacks or even a tie with me in singapore, but what was missing? The leather SHOES!! I left my leather shoes in Malaysia. Oh goodness, i wore shirt, slacks and tie but with sport shoes, which made me look weird as if i am a lao ah pek(uncle). But since i have no choice, i accepted it. When i was in school, Charissa, who is my classmate, kind of surprised when she saw me in that 'weird' combination suit. Haha~~ It was really embarrassing. I quickly got it changed into jeans and t-shirt after the presentation. That suits me better.
We had a very short interval after the ComT tutorial before we moved on to the Individual And The Community (IAC) due to the overrun of time limit during the presentation session. Can anyone imagine how will it be like when you only have 15 minutes of break and all the canteens and food courts are crowded with people? That was what we experienced. In the end, we forced ourselves to stuff in sandwiches......... I felt so bad and guilty as i failed my teammates again. They decided to have a discussion on our projects after the IAC session. However, i cannot join them as i have to rush back to Malaysia. I really hope that they will not take it to heart and i apologise to you all (Wei Tai, Cliff, Qi Xian and Melody) in here. Sorry yah.....
I had been planning on what to do this friday (should be yesterday) since a few days ago. I have planed to do some recordings of songs with my friend who is a keyboardist in Malaysia. The song is meant for someone who is very special and important to me. Despite that special person, i promised someone else to record that song for them too. However, all my plans and meetings had been ruined in the end by multiparties.....Haha~~ firstly, i received sms from my ex-classmates for a gathering at a cafe. I really hoped that i can turn up but i cannot. Secondly, i received a call from my vocal teacher from Muar asking me to follow him to Muar as he would be coming to Batu Pahat for some personal affairs. I rejected too because of the plans i planed earlier. Thirdly, my dad asked me to follow him to a newly opened pub cum bistro run by a friend of his to help them testing their sound system. I went there reluctantly but since it is from my dad, i respect him and followed. The place was awful, without microphone and guitar wires. How they expected me to test it?? It was ruined. Lastly, when i got back to home and called my friend for the recording session, guess what he asked and told me? "I have not practice leh, you trust me?". I was so shocked but then nothing much could be done as i request help from him and i should respect his decision. So, that is how my friday nite was ruined. Guess that i hav to postpone my recording session furthermore. Haiz...... How discouraging la. Hope that i can fork out my time as soon as possible for the song. I will also post up the url link of the song in my blog later and i hope to receive comments from the readers on it. Haha~~
I think that is roughly all for my entry today. I have to sleep earlier as i need to rush up to Muar tomorrow and spend my whole day there with my Popteen (a singing group formed by a few of my friends and i) mates for practices and meetings. Haiz.....Why is it that i still need to work so much when i come back to Malaysia. Isn't it for break and relaxation? I am so stressed~~

樂團....作業報告....BLOG......

哈哈~~今天是時候用華文來發表日記啦。今天是第三天發表日記﹐還是興致勃勃的﹐就不知道我能夠維持這份興致多久噢。但願我不會只是三分鐘熱度。其實我對于這些日記網站﹐它們的功能等都還有許多不了解﹐還在摸索的階段。今天向博客資歷比較深的同學請教了一下關於blog Skin的東西。這才發覺要經營一個像樣的Blog是不簡單的﹐光是一大堆看不懂的HTML代碼就夠我忙了的。但願再過不久﹐我就能讓大家看一個比較像樣﹐比較好看Blog咯。
今天早上醒來﹐梳洗後﹐我本來應該加快腳步趕巴士去上學的﹐怎麼知道我竟然會呆坐在房間裡﹐而且呆了將近5分鐘。回過神來﹐馬上就沖去巴士站咯。直到現在還想不通是怎麼一回事(難道撞邪了....笑﹗﹗)﹐也許是煩惱太多了吧﹐該要放松一下﹐不然會加速老化(白痴﹗)的。呵呵~~
今天上課時倒是沒有什麼值得分享的事情噢﹐就那麼的平淡。這該是好事嗎﹖哈哈~~ 雖然如此﹐還是有值得一提的事。同班的“一對”同學﹐希望我星期一能幫他們溫習有機與生物化學(OBC)。我真的覺得有點受寵若驚﹐還高興了一會兒。不過回過頭來想﹐我的對生物化學似乎還有許多問號(都是你自己上課不專心啦﹗)﹐要幫他們溫習﹐我自己就得先啃一啃筆記咯。除此之外﹐我還得在星期天晚上就趕回來新加坡(通常都是星期一早上~~)﹐不然我第二天可來不及跟他們溫習啊。不過﹐這樣也好﹐幫他們溫習的同時﹐我自己也好溫故知新一下。說了那麼多﹐我現在才發覺﹐我趕不趕得回來都是一個問題耶。因為星期天婆婆做壽﹐孫子當然要去賀賀壽咯﹐也不曉得酒席會到幾點。但願來得及趕去新加坡。
今天本來應該出席的管樂團練習﹐我竟然翹了它。原因是~要留在家裡趕明天作業報告。現在才發覺進了理工學院並沒有比進入中六還是A水準來得輕鬆噢。作業報告(Projects)真的是多到嚇人啊﹐平均沒個星期都得報告﹐蠻有壓力的。再者﹐和中六和A水準不同的是﹐平日的功課表現都是畢業成勣的關鍵。前者則只注重最後一次的會考。真的要向我同組的組員說聲對不起啊﹐這次的報告我並沒有幫上什麼忙。就等下一次才來補償吧。剛才說到翹樂團練習﹐其實還是有另一個原因的。我在剛剛加入的管樂團裡修習的樂器是薩斯克風(Saxophone)﹐目前還是初學階段。練習的時候真的遇到蠻多障礙的。由于吹奏薩斯克風需要配合嘴型(下唇要枕在吹口和牙齒之間)﹐長時間吹奏會令我嘴唇感到疼痛。還有噢﹐每次吹奏都發生上氣不接下氣的現像﹐吹得我都要斷氣啦。哈哈~~扯太遠啦﹐說一下翹班的原因。我就是因為想仔細的想清楚時候要繼續修習薩斯克風還是要換一種樂器才沒有出席練習的(很好的借口噢﹐哇哈~~)。目前有考慮的是長笛。呵呵~~我的毅力也真的是太差了啦﹐這麼一點挫折就要放棄了。大家覺得呢﹖我究竟應不應該換樂器啊﹖
今天......他生病了.....沒有去上學。知道後真的很為他擔心。但願他能很快好起來﹐不要讓我擔心。不過.....我究竟是不是他的誰啊﹖我不知道。也許我太大驚小怪﹐也許我也沒有資格為他感到擔心吧。現在才發覺自己陷得挺深的﹐呵呵~~由于星期六得回馬來西亞﹐沒有辦法陪他去溫習考試﹐覺得有點失望。希望往後能有多點時間去陪陪他﹐就算是去逛街也沒有問題啊﹐只要他開心就好。
今天的日記說了好多廢話噢﹐希望大家能夠容忍我的羅嗦和“廢”啦﹐呵呵~~就此擱筆咯~~

The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I?
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
